“What the hell was that?” Aiden asked in fright after storming into the attic, he and Major Frank had heard the gunshots and had rushed here at once.

“That was the thing that killed Kevin and I think you already knew that didn’t you?” I replied then turned to Major Frank who frowned at my question, his eyes squinted at the sight of the roof, instead of replying to the question posed to him, he walked to Cross and swiped some of the goo on his shoulder and then stared at it deeply before sighing.

“Let’s go” Major Frank said calmly then walked toward the exit of the attic.

“Hey I asked you a question ‘Captain’, I’ve put up with your bullshit for long enough, you better start talking before I make you, what is really going on and what was that thing just now?” I asked with anger while grabbing his arm.

“Do you have a death wish? I said let’s go” Major Frank glanced at me with rage in his eyes.

“Let me just make this clear to you, I don’t take orders from you, I’ve endured your crap for s
