CHAPTER 69

"The young man I came with is my son. He has a task to accomplish here. You'll take him to the cell. Tomorrow night, he'll give you instructions on what he needs here. Remember that," the president gave those instructions to the prison chief. He waited for a while outside, where he had met Ahmed Abdulrazack, ensuring no one else heard their conversation.

The prison chief escorted him out of the area when he was finished with his business at the prison.

Calvin was still in chains as he was taken to his cell, which was located on the top floor, and equipped with all necessary amenities except a television, as those inside were not supposed to know what was happening outside. Being confined there felt like being in darkness, unable to see any light or discern the beauty or ugliness of anything.

As he was being escorted to his cell, the voices of heavily built men could be heard from neighbouring cells.

"We've got ourselves a wife, a beautiful one! I'll marry her myself, hahahahhahah!" O
