109. The Stallions: Ex-convicts.

Meghan was already in her parents' house. She felt goosebumps on her body as she laid on the bed. Her mom peeked through the window and saw just how relaxed she was.

"Now do you not consider yourself free?" her mom said. Her tone was somewhere in the middle of being happy, and being sober. A smile drew itself on her face.

"Well, I will not. I kind of do." Meghan got up from the bed, and with a few steps away she hugged her mom. "I promise that I will never fall for a man like Gavin again."

"Well, I'll take your word for it," Mrs Stallion said.

"Well, well, well a happy mother and daughter moment that I was not invited to." Sophie's voice floated in the room. Both women looked at her standing at the door.

"You know it's not like that, Sophie." Mrs Stallion laughed shyly.

"Well whatever" Sophie whistled. "Dad said he wants the both of you in the living room. You know we just got out of jail and have to sort things out not just in the family front, but as well, in the company front."
