13. Debt Cleared!

Thomas couldn't hide his worries as Gavin was about leaving the office. Even if he had agreed to Gavin's request and had granted him all that he had asked for, he knew it was against the promise which Gavin had made to his father.

"But sir, Isn't this going to raise questions from your wife?” Thomas inquired, his concern evident in his words.

Gavin dismissed his worries, gesturing for him to allow him handle things his own way, "You don't have to worry, Thomas. I've got everything under control."
