Ron thought about what was going on. His ploy had become harder than he thought with his boss seemingly not conforming to his expectations.

"Okay, then." He said. "Do you know that Gavin is presently locked up in jail for beating up his wife and attacking two other men? That should tell you that if he is able to do such a thing, he should also be able to do this."

Mr. Brax looked up ahead at Ron, his face ridden with surprise. "What? Since when has he been there?"

Ron noticed the sudden interest that emerged on his boss's face at the mention of Gavin being in jail. It was not just that of ordinary surprise, but also one of deep worry.

"Well, since yesterday the bastard has been in police custody. I intend to make him pay for all he did."
