135. Setting Gavin Free Again.

The look on the Lieutenant's face was that of shock. He was silent for a moment as he thought about what to do. The look of shock on his face slowly dissolved into a confused one.

"But, Mr Brax..." He swallowed and looked down at his table. "I already told you that this case is not in my hands. Why take it out on me? You know how important those shares..."

"Oh! You care about the shares? You care about that and not a man who has been held here for days for no sensible reason?"

"Forgive me, but I do not even know who this man is. Why are you so interested in him?"

"That is none of your business, Lieutenant." Mr Brax spat. His furrowed brows sat gently above his eyes as he stared intensely at the man before him.

"But, this case..." He replied dryly and in a hesitant manner as he looked around the room. That was the only way to escape the piercing eyes of angry Brax.
