143. As It Should Be.

She had this innocent, yet longing look in her eyes. One that Gavin could swear that he knew. But he wasn't just going to jump into conclusions yet. He had just brought her home after a huge disagreement and didn't want to mess it up.

"So..." She finally broke the silence, even though she didn't know what she wanted to say. She smiled sheepishly as she shook her head

"Yes?" Gavin leaned forward in a concerned manner. She had suddenly gone silent at the beginning of her speech.

"Oh, nothing. I don't know." She giggled and hid her face behind her palm for a second.

"Alright." He nodded and stood up. "Did you have breakfast already? There's something for us to eat and..."
