Her eyes focused on a piece of paper before her. It appeared to be a document that she was reading through. But she was not as focused as one would think. Yes, her eyes were pinned on that piece of paper, but her mind wasn't. And this was because of what had happened earlier.

Although it had been hours after her mother left, Meghan could not get what she had said off her mind. She was not surprised at how her mother acted because she knew that she was always that way when it had to do with Gavin. She was already used to her family looking down on him,and cussing her out because she choose to be with him, even after everything. But at this point, she did not mind.

And honestly, she did not have much to worry about in respect to Gavin. He was her husband and she wanted to be with him, so nothing could change that. But the problem was the assignment.
