Hearing Megan squeal with terror after seeing his beaten body on the floor, made him raise his head up to look at her right there at the right of the door. Gavin found himself intrigued by his wife's words, especially the last sentence she made. He felt his eyes water a bit, but did not think it had anything to do with what she had said, or anything to do with feeling bad. "What did you mean by that?" He asked.
