64. Chief of Police's Daughter.

Gavin watched her walk away, even more passionately angry than how he thought his wife should have been. He wondered why she felt angry about it, and more than that he wondered what she would be able to do, as mere looking at her, she seemed rather unreliable to him.

She had ginger colored hair with very red-brown eyes. Red hair was not a common feature in hair. He could clearly see that she was not particularly common either.

His hands held tightly to the bars when the police officer serving as a guard for that night said to him, "You should thank your lucky stars that the daughter of the Chief of Police likes you. You really are one lucky mother fucker, you."

Gavin gave him no reply, and just let his head dangle once more on the bars. He did not feel as lucky as the police guard was touting. Look at him, he thought. In jail, abandoned by his wife, and unable to do anything about it, because he made a promise to his grandfather to keep the family wealth a secret.
