Gavin was still asleep when Meghan received a call from her father. She was taking tea when the call came in.

The phone buzzed and she took a look at it, just to see her father's name floating on the screen. The tea she had in her mouth nearly spilled out of it, the cup almost fell and predictively broke into many other time pieces.

She was never expecting him to make a call to her. It had been forever since he last called. Ever since she decided to marry Gavin and bring shame to the family, he had made his calls as rare as a blue moon.
