98. Mistaken Gratitude.

At the counter of the police station, the police kept their phones for each member of the family to come pick up as they were free to do.

Meghan could not bear with the excitement anymore, she immediately reached out and grabbed for herself her phone and dialled James number.

"Uh-uh, I hope you are not doing what I think you are doing" Mr. Stallion was clearly not supportive of Meghan trying to call James that early.

"But dad, we need to do some appreciation," Meghan protested. "You said it yourself, dad. Whoever had a hand in us getting released from prison you will appreciate. Well I am just doing it first because I know exactly who helped us. You don't have to worry about anything. I always knew James would deliver on his words." She dialled his number.
