Chapter 319: Scarlet Dilemma.

Scarlet's father sat beside her bedside waiting for his daughter to wake up from her sleep; though the doctors assured her that there was nothing serious for him to worry about, he was so restless that it almost caused him to have a heart attack.

The nurses warned him that if he continued to worry, he would be assigned a bed in the hospital, so he was asked to take care of his health. His officers' colleagues visited him and Scarlet in turn at the hospital.

They came with flowers, and some brought food because they knew her father would not eat until she woke up.

Scarlet had been unconscious for two days, but it felt like a year in her father's mind. He paced around the room a lot, talking to Scarlet about her childhood memories and how happy she was riding her bike on their lawn despite his warnings.
