Feeling curious, Dion crept closer to Leon, and that was when he realized that Veronica was about to be taken away by Leon. Dion immediately reached inside his jacket and took the weapon that was tucked there.

Leon's instincts told him that he was in danger. He turned around and was shocked when suddenly Dion pointed the weapon at him. Leon took a deep breath, he didn't move and stared at Dion, watching for any opening to fight back.

"What did you do to Veronica?" Dion snapped with a red face because it was covered in anger.

"I should be the one asking, what did you do to my wife."

Leon said it calmly, as if he was not afraid and disturbed by Dion's gun pointing.

"Wife? A wife who doesn't want the marriage? Vero is my lover. She only loves me."

Dion remained firm in his opinion, he did not accept Veronica marrying someone else.

"Lover? Who has the stronger status here? I am her husband, not just her lover anymore. She is already bound to me before God and witnessed by many people.
