Hundred and Eighty-Five.

It was morning already and Chelsey hadn’t had a night sleep, she couldn’t believe she had a conversation like that.

What she’d heard from the talking eagle sent cold chills running down her spine and for the first few hours of the morning, she could barely get in her headspace.

She was shaken, terrified and wouldn’t stop wondering what she could do, how she could possibly help because right now, when the time comes, she would have to be the one to step up.

“Are you okay?” She was stirring the soup when Lyon’s voice terrified the hell out of her, causing her to jump up in fear as she looked behind her to see a worried Lyon.

“I— I’m— fine— I’m fine.” She stuttered, knowing she doesn’t sound too convincing and Lyon could probably hear her heart racing.

“You don’t look okay,” Lyon said as he leaned into her, he placed his palm on her forehead to feel her temperature but she seemed fine.
