The loud ringing in his ears was also enough to cause him to wince in pain. The pain rippled through his entire being, causing him to writhe on the bed.

It wasn’t the first time something like this was happening to him but it was the first time Chelsey was experiencing it.

She was about to get dressed and call for help when she realized just how tightly Lyon was holding her, he trailed a line with his finger at the back of her hand and when she felt it, Chelsey couldn’t help but gasp.

She couldn’t believe that he was asking her to stay out of it, asking her to leave his room and not come back inside until he came outside.

Watching him, she felt as though he was in pain because she could see how he moved but she respected his wishes.

Lyon made sure to delay the meeting until he was sure he could no longer feel Chelsey’s presence in the room with him anymore, he finally gave in.
