BACK AT HOME WHERE KELVIN AND ELEN ARE.Kelvin was breathing heavily and even though he had gotten stronger, he couldn’t believe that he couldn’t still keep up with Elen.“How are you not tired yet?” Kelvin asked breathlessly as he clutched his chest and tried to regulate his breathing.His relationship with Elen had gone so far that now both of them are comfortable with each other and in order for Kelvin to get stronger Elen had suggested that they both go out together.“Because I’ve been doing this since I learned to walk and talk,” Elen responded as she slashed the final beast, revealing its core.“Finish him off.” She ordered and Kelvin did as he was told. “Fuck.” Lyon groaned as the knife cut him and the blood that came out of his finger from that cut was an unusual amount.“That’s the second time you’ve cut yourself today, are you okay?” Chelsey asked as she rushed to Lyon with a napkin to cover his blood.“I’m fine,” he assured her but despite the fact that he was trying to be fine, there’s this nasty feeling in the pit of his stomach that makes him feel like something is terrible.He wanted to call Elen and Kelvin to pose the question but since arriving at this place, there had been no cell service so there was no way he could.He couldn’t possibly teleport too because that would be going against Abraham’s rules and he had made a promise to himself that as long as they are here then Abraham is the master.“I just really think something is wrong.” He explained to Chelsey who cleaned the blood off Lyon’s fingers only to see that he had completely healed.“You know, sometimes, I forget you don’t need medical attention,” Chelsey sighed

Three days had passed and Kelvin still hadn't woken up even though they had removed all the strange particles in his body.“Are you really sure he’s going to be okay?” Elen asked one of the organization's medical attendants who nodded positively.“He’s just an ordinary person and his body is weak against these kinds of attacks so he’s going to be fine, it’s just going to take a while.” She explained to Elen.“How long do you think it’s going to take him to fully recover?” Elen questioned but the attendant only shrugged.She has been trying her best to be strong and not worry too much but no matter how hard she tries, she ends up being even more worried.Kelvin was lying with his eyes closed and also in an obvious state of coma, it was hard to not worry about him.“Elen, I need to talk to you.” Akira’s voice jolted her out of her thoughts and she stood from Kelvin’s side to go with him.“Did you find out what kind of creature it was?” She questioned but Akira shook his head negatively

“What?!” She yelled before she could have a hold on herself, she couldn’t believe her eyes especially when she just spoke with the attendant and was told that it could take a while for him to wake up.“You look like you’ve seen a ghost, what’s going on?” Kelvin choked out, his body still felt numb and he couldn’t move.“You— y— How are you?” Elen stuttered, fumbling her words but making sure that she was still able to say something.“I’m not so fine,” Kelvin winced, “I’m having a bad headache and I can’t move my body.” He explained as Elen’s eyes widened.“Where am I and can you please dim the lights? I can barely see.” He said in a low tone and Elen did as he asked.“So, will you tell me what’s going on?” He asked and she shook her head, she still looked like she was petrified and could barely speak.“Just lay still, I’ll be back in a minute!” She shouted and before Kelvin could say anything, she was out of the ward room.Kelvin looked around and it didn’t take long for him to realiz
