With his mind set on defeating the enemy his parents had warned him about, Lyon has his eyes on nothing else and made a promise to himself to even work harder.

“You’ve changed a lot,” Lyon turned to see Kelvin behind him and he smiled because he could say the same of his best friend too.

There was no ounce of fear in Kelvin’s countenance and he had an idea of how hard Kelvin must have worked to get that strong.

“I almost couldn’t tell that you’re Lyon,” Kelvin laughed as he stood beside Lyon, “I’m glad I decided to be with you instead because I would have hated myself if I didn’t get to experience all this.” He added.

“You know, I don’t like myself for missing all of your training sessions,” Lyon countered as they both walked into the room they had assigned to him.

“I wanted to grow strong with you but I’m not going to be selfish by saying I’m jealous you got stronger on your own.” Lyon finished and Kelvin laughed.
