Everywhere fell silent and by the time Lyon’s eyes fluttered open it was morning already. His head hurt and for a moment he still couldn’t register what had happened in his head.

Groaning, Lyon made his way to the bathroom and that was when he realized that his necklace had been switched out.

It wasn’t the same amulet that suppressed his powers, it was the exact one he saw his mother put around his neck in the dream.

Holding it, Lyon winced at how hot the necklace was and he looked at his palm to see that it had gotten really burnt.

He could feel the power of the necklace around his neck and his mother’s words kept ringing in his head. He can’t risk letting anyone see it.

‘In shadows deep and unseen light,

I call upon the veil of night, wrap this object in a shroud of old. Invisible to all who seek, let it vanish, silent and meek.’

Lyon watched as the necklace disappeared and he couldn’t feel its power anymore. He brushed his teeth and got ready to meet Akira.
