The dealership attendant left after causing an uproar. Erica had to look once again, carefully, at the name Nate written on the paper she was holding. It was clearly written, but Erica still couldn't believe what she was saying.

She looked at Nate once more with a furrowed brow. How could he afford a car when he wasn't rich? He even struggled to buy whatever he wanted, and he wasn't a businessman or an office worker who could probably afford a new car after a few months of saving. As far as Erica was concerned, Nate had no savings or steady job that would allow him to accumulate enough money to buy a car.

"Nate, where did you get the money to buy that car?" Erica asked in a low voice. She tried not to insinuate Nate or hurt his feelings with her question.

"Maybe he stole the money from the bank," John chuckled. He laughed the loudest of all the people there. And Nate was annoyed that John kept putting him down in front of everyone.
