"I brought you both here to select your weapons and staffs respectfully, the equipment here is all gold grade and real treasures of the kingdom," King Mark said as we walked around.
"Sarah, this staff will fit you because of your natural control of nature. It has a great boost to all wind and nature spells, be it defence and attack" Queen Elizabeth said and gave Sarah a green staff with a grey gem at the top.
The staff looks like it was made of roots intertwined together from the bottom to top, only separating at the top so the grey gem can be there placed.
When Sarah held the staff, she channelled a little bit of mana into it. As if alive, the staff became greener and the grey gem turned blue. The staff was a high grade because I could feel the mana circulating at the top.
"Thanks, mom, the staff is nice, It will help me with mana control increasing," Sarah said with a bright smile on her face.
I nodded because getting good equipment that can increase your magic power was good. Then I looked around if I could see a good sword for myself.
"Peter come here, check this sword" the king handed me a broad sword. It was more than half my height and was very balanced. I tested it by swinging it around, it was good but I was not feeling anything from the sword.
I look around again and my eyes landed on an obsidian slap standing two meters tall in the room. Walked closer to it, and then placed my right hand on it. I immediately felt a surge of mana within it.
It was like when I placed my hands on the orb during the awakening ceremony, but this time I saw a pair of purple eyes looking at me and I knew it belonged to the void dragon Voltron.
When I regained my senses, a smile appeared on my lips. I placed both hands on the obsidian wall towering in front of me and channelled my mana into it. Everybody just stood and watched me.
Soon the wall started to shrink in size until it got to a five inches cube and then started to change shape into different types of weapons. I held onto it in both hands and it turned into a broadsword.
"That obsidian wall has been standing there for generations, but nobody knew what it was. Who would have thought it would be something on a legendary level", King Mark said as he walked toward me.
"How did you activate it," he asked curiously. I did not know that this obsidian wall was one of Voltron's personal weapons, if I told him that it was the void dragon's weapon he would surely faint out of shock.
"When I touched it, I felt mana within it, so I channelled my mana into it. Who knew it would transform into something so awesome," I said while testing the sword.
I figured that the cube could turn into anything I imagined or willed it to be, so I turned into a spear, then a dual sword and lastly a twin axe.
"This is great stuff," I said as it transformed into a bracelet in both my arms. Sarah gave me a knowing smile and I shrugged helplessly to her.
"It's good that both of you got nice weapons and pieces of equipment. Alright let's leave this place, it's time for your training" the queen said and we exited the vault which locked automatically as we stepped out.
We got to the hall and saw Helen waiting for us as usual. Sarah showed her the new staff she got and she nodded in approval.
"Peter what did you get, is it a staff too or a sword," she asked me expectantly. I waved my hand and the black bracelet turned into a sword before I changed it to a magic staff copying Sarah's but mine was black with no gem at the top.
Her eyes shot open as she looked at the black staff in my hands in astonishment. I knew she had never seen anything like this before, so her expression was expected.
"That's an amazing weapon, it should be at the legendary grade if I am not mistaken" she commented. As a sixth-circle mage, she sure knew a lot.
"I won't be training with you guys today, I want to master the used of my new weapon as soon as possible, because we will be leaving for the academy soon," I said to them. It has been a long time since I trained my sword technique and they are some movement techniques I want to try too.
I left the hall and went to the training ground in the palace. Like usual, some knights were sparing.
"Hey Peter it's been a long time since you came to spar with us, you've been focusing on your magic training recently right," a knight who was at the third stage of sword knight said.
"Wow Peter, you look different. It has only been a week since we saw you, how did you get so tall," another said.
"Who knows, it's been a while and I want to train my sword art today, so would anyone be willing to spar with me," I asked him with a smile.

A knight agreed to spar with Peter and they both got in the middle of the field squaring up to each other.
"Are you ready peter, since you have done your awakening I won't be holding back," he said as he waved his broad wooden sword around.
"Don't hold back, I want to test myself as well," Peter said holding his sword with both hands in an attacking stance.
"Begin" the spar started and peter dashed towards him with speed, bringing down his sword in a downward slash. The knight also responded with a side slash.

The two swords met midway, and based on the strength of the knight, he pushed peter back two steps. Peter smiled and charged up to him again. They exchange up to ten moves before Peter punched in the face which sent him staggering backwards.
"You got stronger, but that's not enough to beat me," the knight said and prepared himself to continue the spar. Based on peter's dragon physique, the punch did nothing to him.
"Is that so let's, continue then," Peter decided to test his found dragon's strength and speed. He dashed forward before jumping into the sky, using gravity he brought his sword down with great force.
The knight decided to block it with an upward slash, wanting to parry the attack to the side but was surprised by the force behind the attack that stop the movement of his sword. Peter used the momentum of the knight's sword to jump back. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he dashed forward attacking with a thrust.
The spar took a new turn, as Peter continued his assault on the knight. Using his strength, he pushed peter with a swing of his sword. Without giving him time to rest, he swung his sword down on peter. Peter saw the sword coming down on him, and he could feel his body moving on his own as if instinctively, he moved to the side allowing the sword to pass by him, before punching the knight in the face.

The knight staggered back, not expecting that Peter would return the punch he gave him before,
"Not bad Peter, let's get serious now," he said and dashed to Peter, who also charged toward him. They clashed head-on with peter moving back ten steps and the knight going back two.
There was a crazed smile on Peter's face and his golden pupils were glowing. He then used a dragon technique called 'dragon step' to close the distance between them. This caught the knight off guard but he still made a side slash in an attempt to break Peter's movement.
But Peter expected it, he ducked down and made a quick move behind the knight and hit him behind his right knee disturbing his balance, before he could respond to that, Peter kicked him on his thigh and used his sword to hit the knight's wrist making him drop his sword.
"You lost," Peter said to him placing his wooden sword on his head. The spectators were surprised by the outcome of the spar. During the spar, Peter's level increased from level one to level two and he could feel his strength increasing as well.
"That was a good spar Peter, when did you reach level two", Alex asked as he walked over.
"It must be during the spar, you know I was under huge pressure facing a level three sword knight" Peter replied as sat down to catch his breath.
"That move you made to close the gap between you two during the end of the spar, I have not seen it before," he asked Peter.
"Made it myself, it is really good to catch someone off guard in a battle," Peter told him and got up.
"I will be coming to train more often before heading to the academy at the end of the week," Peter said as he walked away.
"That kid is a monster, how can he be strong at just level two beginners stage, those proud kids in the academy are going to be thrashed" the knight who just sparred Peter said while looking at him.

Peter got to his room and headed straight for the bathroom, done with that, he started learning how to cast a lightning spell ‘lightning bolt’. It took him a couple of hours to cast it. For the next two days, Peter continued his training and was improving his coordination, between his swordsmanship and my spell casting.One evening he was training in the training ground in the palace, casting spells at the same using different sword skills that will increase his combat ability. King Mark was standing on the balcony of the third floor of the palace watching him train with a smile on his face.Peter decided to test the king's domain ability to see how powerful it was. He cast the spell and reduce gravity on his body and jumped 5 meters into the air, then increased it as landed with a downward slash."Wow, this is amazing," he said truly amazed by the power to control gravity. After a good night's sleep, early in the morning, Peter was up for my morning exercise as usual before heading to the bathroom. When he got out, Peter arranged his clothes and placed them in my storage ring. Peter wore a black shirt and blue pants, with his hair tied up in a man bun. He walked to the living room, where he will be meeting the royal family for breakfast. Peter looked around the palace as he made his way there, admiring its beauty and majesty designs. He was so going to miss this place and he has gotten close to most of the staff here because we are all commoners. "Good morning Peter, you going to the academy today, make us proud," said the butler in charge of all the affairs of the palace. He was a middle age man, with grey hair and a goatee. He has been working in the palace for close to thirty years and is trusted by the king. "Don't worry, I will sure make those nobles know the power of us commoners," Peter said with a nod. They

After arranging my stuff in the room, I looked around the academy. On the knight tower, each floor was divided by the level of the knight. The first floor was for the beginners, the second floor was for the sword, spear or other knights, the third floor was for the aura sword knight, and the fourth floor was for the general level knight. Their rooms were bigger and it comes with a personal training area.The academy gives two years of training to get the sword knight level and then heads out for a year to train as adventurers. However, a minority of people make it to sword aura knight class before the two years deadline and some don’t make it to sword knight after the deadline and are expelled from the academy.I continued to read the instruction manual of the knight tower as I made my way to the mage tower to look for Sarah. The next day was the induction and introduction of new students into the academy, so wore my black combat gear with the green sword patch on the left shoulder. The combat gear I was given was a wooden sword and shield, forearm and shin guard made of leather, with a chest plate also made of leather and there was all black.I left my room because I was on the second floor made for beginners, it was crowded with students wearing green combat gear, so I stood out from the rest and it gave me unwanted attention. The next week started and it was the first class for Peter and Joy in the third circle. They stood in front of ten feet high door and they could feel mana fluctuation from it.They open the door and step into an open field with trees and a lake. The stage of the arena was covered with smoke. Peter stood at his spot waiting for the smoke to clear off. On the other side, the boy pointed his staff forward and four magic circles appeared, “Scattershot.” Flames shot out from the circle into the smoke heading for where Peter was.Peter sensed the fluctuation of mana and his dragon sense made him know that an attack was coming his way. He channelled mana into his hand creating a whip from fire. Samuel stood on the stage facing his opponent. He took a red staff with a ruby at the tip. The ruby glowed with a tinge of an orange hue to it. He got the staff from a merchant for a high amount of gold after his duel with Peter.The boy with the buzz took off his cloak; he was wearing a sleeveless top showing his muscles. The boys were surprised by the outcome of the fight. Everybody at the table stared at the two boys, waiting for them to say the identity of the person who sent them.“It was Jackson the son of Baron Steven that sent us.” The other boy said proudly, as if proud of the fact that he was a lackey.“Do you guys know any Jackson in the academy,” Peter asked the people around the table since he has no idea who the person was. Jude was the same as him but he knew who Baron Steven was. He was the baron in charge of a big city in the east close to the border between Gales and Green land. CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT
In the class, students were inscribing tunes into sheets of paper. It was not other ordinary paper but magic sheets used to create magic scrolls. Magic scrolls are sheets with spells engraved on them, sold to merchants or adventurers.The price of the magic scrolls depends on the quality. The scrolls are divided into three grades. They are ‘Normal, Rear and Epic’ grades. So the class are learning how to engrave magic spells into the sheets. Some would blow up in their face, while most just created normal-grade scrolls.Peter found it interesting, as he tried to engrave the runes without using the steps he had gotten from the knowledge of the dragons.
