‘So this is King Mark, he must be at the peak of martial knight rank’ Peter thought to himself.
Looking at the imposing man standing 1.8 meters in height, with brown hair and black eyes that give the feeling of being watched by a higher being.
“Your majesty” everybody in the training ground bowed to him as approached us.
“You may rise,” he said as he glanced around the crowd before finally resting his eyes on me and David.
“You must be Peter right, I was watching your spar, and I must I am impressed at how you fight with a sword despite not yet in the novice rank,” he said with a look of approval, which angered Baron Paul greatly.
“Thank you for your words of encouragement your majesty,” I said as I bowed to the king.
“Paul your son seems to be improving well, but he still to train more,” he said as he looked at David.
“Thank you, my king, I will see that h trains more” he bowed to the king.
“You seem to have gotten to the peak of aura knight, it won’t be long before you enter the general knight” he nodded to Baron Paul as he walked towards Sarah and the queen.
She walked toward him with a smile on her face “welcome back, let’s go inside so that you can rest well” she suggestively, to which the king agreed and walked the palace with his on Sarah’s head.
As we all walked back to the palace Alex gave me a thumb up as I waved at him and David gave me hateful glares which I returned with a playful smirk making him angrier, like that the evening ended.
All that is left is for me to rest well preparing for the talent selection tomorrow, I hope things go well and I wonder how my parents are doing.

I was hanging the clothes I had just finished washing out back when I saw a knight of the palace riding his horse slowly to my house.
“Please is this the Grey family house,” he asked as he approached the house looking towards me.
“Yes it is and I can I help you” I heard my husband as he came out of the house with two other men, one of which was Jamie’s father Peter’s close friend.
“I am a royal knight from the palace here to pass you a letter from your son Peter,” he said as he reached out a letter towards us with the crest of a blue lion indicating it was from the palace.
I paused when I heard him my son peter, who we all thought jumped off the cliff to save himself from that mage was sending us a letter “are you that it is my son Peter” I asked him with a shaky voice as my body tremble all over.
“Yes Miss Grey, he was the one that wrote the letter himself,” he said as I took the letter with my hands trembling.
Only God knows how I have survived over the last two weeks since that incident, now seeing a letter from her son, she was so excited.
The men saw the off as he planned to return to the palace, my husband came to me so that we could read the letter together since we both missed ours on so deeply.
“Hey mum and dad, how are you guys doing, I know that I have made both of worry a lot about me and I am sorry. I am lucky to have survived that fall and landed at the campsite of the queen under the cliff. They have been taking care of me since I go to the palace. The queen and princess are very nice even though I have not met the king yet, from what I have heard he seems to be nice too. I will be staying in the palace for a while and will contact you through letters until I am strong enough to return or get my own place to bring you guys here. And mum I know that you are expecting a child so take care of yourself and don’t worry too much, dad if anything happened to her I will cripple you. Love you guys your son peter.”
Tears was rolling down my eyes as I saw my son’s witting and I recognized it. After we finish reading the letter and I looked at my husband whose eyes were red and trying not to cry “dear he is alive, our son is alive and doing well”.
He nodded at me as I snuggled into his embraced and cried. Soon we heard footsteps and turned to see Jamie and his father.
I gave the letter to him so he could know that his friend is ok and stop blaming himself for running away back then.
“Aunty Alice, he is really alive and living in the palace, that’s great, that’s really great,” he said as tears streamed down his face and his father patted his back.
We all knew how the boy has been suffering after losing his friend and hardly the town or even going out of his house.
He continue reading down there was a look of shock and surprise on his face, then he looked up and stare at me with shining eyes then looked at my abdomen. At moment I knew what was in his mind and rubbed it.
“Aunty Alice, you are pregnant that’s great news, I might and uncle soon,” he said as he laughed. That was something he had not done in a long time.
“You know what will be great Jamie, if you continue to train hard and not lose to Peter when you see him again, you know his quite strong,” I said to him with a smile.
The father knowing my intention gave me thumbs up. “You know Jamie, you have to train well because you have never won Peter in a spar and he has gone to place, he would come back strong so you better prepare yourself”.
Jamie raised his head and said with a serious face “I won’t lose; I will become stronger so that we can fight together and this time I won’t run away”
We looked at each other and laughed. Peter my son, become strong and protect your sibling when it is time.

When we got to the palace, Queen Elizabeth led Sarah and me to the king's private study. When we arrived at the door of the study, she knocked twice before we got permission to enter. The study was huge. It had shelves that were as high as fifteen feet, stacked with books of different colours. Some of the books were about magic, which is surprising because the king was a broadsword user. We saw the king sitting behind a desk filled with files and ledgers. Behind him were a blue lion shield and a great sword behind it. That night, I decided to take the red dragon pill. When I swallowed the pill, I could feel a fiery sensation coming from my chest as the pill started to dissolve. Then it spread from my chest at its starting point to every part of my body. It was as if my body was set on fire, as I could feel the temperature raising and sweating all over my body. The next moment my joint started snapping, which caused me great pain. I thought I could bear it but the pain increased and my body felt as if it was burning up, to the point I let a scream and pass out on the bed. After breakfast, Sarah and I took a walk to the back garden of the palace. The back garden was very beautiful, with different types of exotic and nearly extinct plants there. In the garden, you can see different colours and species of birds flying around. This place was a safe haven for these birds because they had been hunted outside of this place. We walked on the marble walkway and by the side of the walkway; you can see heroes, generals and kings as you walk down the pavement. We got to the centre of the garden and there was a statue of the first king of Gales kingdom. The stature was at least 10 meters tall and it was so life like that you could feel pressured just looking at it. When we entered the vault, it was as huge as the hall in the palace, filled with different types of weapons and armour. "I brought you both here to select your weapons and staffs respectfully, the equipment here is all gold grade and real treasures of the kingdom," King Mark said as we walked around. "Sarah, this staff will fit you because of your natural control of nature. It has a great boost to all wind and nature spells, be it defence and attack" Queen Elizabeth said and gave Sarah a green staff with a grey gem at the top. The staff looks like it was made of roots intertwined together from the bottom to top, only separating at the top so the grey gem can be there placed. Peter got to his room and headed straight for the bathroom, done with that, he started learning how to cast a lightning spell ‘lightning bolt’. It took him a couple of hours to cast it. The next week started and it was the first class for Peter and Joy in the third circle. They stood in front of ten feet high door and they could feel mana fluctuation from it.They open the door and step into an open field with trees and a lake. When Tina got down from the stage, she met Sarah smiling at her, “you finally advanced to the second circle,” she said to her. Her nature affinity increased a lot after that and she got a new spell called ‘MOTHER NATURE’. The stage of the arena was covered with smoke. Peter stood at his spot waiting for the smoke to clear off. On the other side, the boy pointed his staff forward and four magic circles appeared, “Scattershot.” Flames shot out from the circle into the smoke heading for where Peter was.Peter sensed the fluctuation of mana and his dragon sense made him know that an attack was coming his way. He channelled mana into his hand creating a whip from fire. When the flames shot out of the smoke screen, Peter flogged his whip forward towards the flames and it destroyed the flames.Peter sent the whip forward striking at his opponent, the boy raised a flame wall to block it. Samuel stood on the stage facing his opponent. He took a red staff with a ruby at the tip. The ruby glowed with a tinge of an orange hue to it. He got the staff from a merchant for a high amount of gold after his duel with Peter.The boy with the buzz took off his cloak; he was wearing a sleeveless top showing his muscles. In the class, students were inscribing tunes into sheets of paper. It was not other ordinary paper but magic sheets used to create magic scrolls. Magic scrolls are sheets with spells engraved on them, sold to merchants or adventurers.The price of the magic scrolls depends on the quality. The scrolls are divided into three grades. They are ‘Normal, Rear and Epic’ grades. So the class are learning how to engrave magic spells into the sheets. Some would blow up in their face, while most just created normal-grade scrolls.Peter found it interesting, as he tried to engrave the runes without using the steps he had gotten from the knowledge of the dragons.
