Alexander pointed toward Barry, and a subordinate standing behind Thorne quickly approached, taking Barry’s phone and asking for a contact number.

"Call the first person in your contacts for me.”

Barry weakly instructed.

After the subordinate dialed, he held the phone to Barry's ear. Barry said a few words to the person on the other end, and his face lit up with joy.

But that joy was short-lived as it aggravated his injuries, making him grimace in pain.

“Ouch! It hurts so bad. You just wait—my backup is on the way, and then I’ll show you who really runs Golden Harbor.”

Thorne dragged a chair over and placed it behind Alexander. Once seated, Thorne pulled out a golden cigar box and slipped a cigar between Alexander's fingers.

A match of snow cedar wood was lit, releasing its distinct aroma.

The match lit the cigar, and Alexander took a puff before smiling: “Mr. Pittman, this is a fine cigar. The finest from Havana, rolled on the chests of young maidens, so it carries their fragrance.”
