Characters' chapter 1!

Welcome, all! this is the first C.C(Characters Chapter) of PARALLEL, since 7 chapters have already been uploaded I thought that it would be a good idea to inform you and give you more detail about the characters and the world of PARALLEL, also this chapter is a celebration of my second book being contracted, Now let us start with the characters designs I have in mind

Luck: He is an island boy that was birthed and raised in the country of Kesio and his main hobbies are volleyball, working out, and playing video games, he is muscular and quite strong, he likes to do things privately, Luck also likes the idea of fighting to the death because he thinks that someone's true self can be revealed in the blink of death, his favorite food? probably beans, he is 177cm or 5'8ft tall and he is 15 years old and his birthday is on the 22nd of December (22/12), he has short black hair and bright yellow/golden eyes, Luck is also a bit tanned since he spent all of his summers on the beach

Caroline: She is a strange girl of unknow origin, she has long white hair and beautiful red eyes, Caroline's hobbies are unknown, Caroline is an energetic girl with a lot of passion for work, she likes to dress and try every style since she is a huge fan of fashion, Caroline is 163cm or 5'4ft tall and she is 16 years old, as for her birthday she was birthed on the 21st of June (21/6)

Destiny: She is the popular girl in the school and also Luck's crush, she has green eyes and short black hair, she is also very energetic and caring for everyone, she came from a foreign country so she ended up losing a school year so she could learn the language, Destiny had an older sister, she is 161cm or 5'3ft tall and she is 16 years old, her birthday is on the 3rd of January (3/1)

Kamira: She is a pretty intimidating woman and tall woman that focuses on her mission and the earth's safety, she has relatively short brownhair and she has dark brown eyes with hints of white, she is usually dressed in a masculine suit to not drive any attention to her appearance, she has a younger brother (Gnomon) which she deeply cares for, and when they were younger Kamira used to spoil him a little too much, Kamira is 194cm or 6.3ft tall and she is 26 years old and her birthday is on November the 13th (13/11)

Gnomon: He is a free soul that does whatever he desires, he is a tall black-haired man with black eyes, he is a very extroverted person that is pleased to meet new people, he has an explosive personality that sometimes comes out aggressive, Gnomon loves his sister from the deepness of his heart and admires everything she did for him, Gnomon is 202cm or 6'6ft tall and his birthday is on the 12th of December (12/12) Gnomon is 6 years younger than Kamira but their difference in age didn't affect their relationship

FUN FACTS:

1. Luck didn't mention it to Caroline but in the summer he also studied about the human body so he knows most humans' weak spots and to top that Luck practiced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Eskrima

2. Caroline doesn't know how to do basic things such as tie shoelaces, whistle, etc. She also has a hard time swimming in the sea so she tries to avoid it as much as she can, Caroline also has no idea how the internet worked until Kamira took a day to teach her

3. Kesio's location is in-between Greece and Italy, most specifically, Kesio's islands are neighboring Peloponnesus and the city of Lecce (Italy) so basically in the Ionian sea

4. PARALLEL was inspired by many other series I have watched/read but the ones that had the biggest impact was "Jujutsu Kaisen" (Specialized mana zones) and a web-comic "the gamer" (mana zones) and as for my power system it was inspired by "HxH"'s nen system but I changed it a bit to fit more to the theme I wanted to create, The matrix also was a big inspiration for the series, all this simulation like world seemed amazing to me
