The atmosphere around Africa and most specifically a village in Kenya was completely different from Luck's hometown, the culture, the people, the weather, everything was different, even though Luck hadn't been to Kenya before it felt like home, and the people are to blame for this feeling, the people welcomed Luck with open hands, they also seemed to have a good relationship with Gnomon

"They seem to love us, why is that?"

Luck asked curiously

"There are multiple reasons for that, we provide them food, academic knowledge, and a safe shelter, they can basically sleep with their doors open and nobody will attempt to steal anything since they don't lack anything"

Gnomon told Luck, it was abnormal for Luck

"Do you mean that you have money to support a whole city?"

"No, I don't! We actually have money to support all of the countries in Africa"

Gnomon replied, Luck was left with an open mouth, after the small discussion Gnomon guided Luck to his favorite place, it was called "The devil's snack", once they entered the restaurant the staff welcomed them with a happy cheer, the 2 of them then picked a table and sat down, a waiter then came to take their order

"Bring 2 of my usual"

Gnomon said in the language of Swahili (a Bantu language widely used in East Africa)

"What did you order?"

Luck asked in confusion

"Don't worry you are going to like it!"

Gnomon told him with a devilish smile

"Alright, I'm going to trust you... oh and another thing, How can you speak so many languages?"

"It's actually a mana thing, if you try to move your mana into your ears you will be able to hear better and understand languages, as for you to speak the language it's pretty much the same, but you move your mana into your mouth, and the person will understand whatever you are saying, convenient, no?"

Gnomon explained to Luck, it was strange for Luck to comprehend it but once the waiter came to deliver their food he tried it

"Thank you!"

he said to the waiter, the waiter nodded to him with a smile

"He understood!!!"

Luck told to Gnomon with a big smile, but once Luck saw Gnomon's face he stopped smiling, Gnomon was holding his laugh

"It didn't work, he simply knows English, people in Kenya also speak English"

Luck was a bit disappointed by Gnomon's answer, Luck then turned to his food, he was surprised by the appearance of the food, it was a biryani, it contained a bowl of mixed rice and some other side dice that contained chicken meat with spices, Luck instantly took out his phone and took a photo of the food, he then started eating

"You seem to enjoy it, I'm glad you like it!"

Gnomon said as he saw Luck devour a whole plate of food, Luck didn't respond, he just thumbed up and nodded, Gnomon then started eating too, and after some time they finished

"Man this food is amazing, I bet Caroline will be very jealous if she saw what we are eating"

Luck said, he then came up with an idea

"I will post a photo of the food I took on Ikstagram and I will also send it to her!"

Luck said, he then posted the photo on his story and then he sent the photo to Caroline

"Leave socials alone and let's go pay, you have to return to Biol"

Gnomon said, they both of them then got up and went to the cashier to pay

"He is going to pay!"

Gnomon said in English while pointing at Luck

"Wait ME? I didn't bring any money with me!"

Luck said with a panicked voice, the cashier and Gnomon burst out laughing

"It was a joke kid!"

Gnomon said, he then paid with his card, the 2 of them then exited the restaurant and slowly began to walk around the village 

 Gnomon was showing the way to the plane that would bring him back to Biol, while they were walking a Luck received a message from Caroline, it was a photo of a soup with beans, it was the food that Luck had cooked days before, but a single thing that concerned Luck, the picture showed 2 plates so he simply asked

"Will you eat 2 plates?"

Caroline replied with a photo once again, the photo was a selfie with Caroline and Destiny sitting together, Luck was confused

"Why is Destiny with you?"

He texted

"We will do homework together and after that, we will go sunbathing!"

Caroline replied with a voice message, Luck replied with a thumbs up and closed his phone since they arrived at the location of the plane

"So Luck you will get into the plane and go home, after your homework make sure to train your mana, make sure you get a little used to using it because you going to need it in the future"

Gnomon said, he then opened the door of the airplane for Luck to go in

"Wait couldn't you just use this mana zone you used before to take me back?"

Luck asked confused

"Not really! my SMZ is not something that I can constantly keep using for reasons like that"

Gnomon said, Luck then went into the plane, Gnomon closed the door and the plane took off, it took long for Luck to notice but when he noticed he screamed

"Gnomon didn't you stay in Kenya? How did you get inside?"

Luck asked

"I am not master Gnomon, I am a robot designed to imitate him, I am often used as bait for an enemy attack"

The robot spoke very slow

'He sounds like the stereotypical robot in movies'

Luck thought when he heard its voice, Luck thought that the robot sounded cute, after an hour the plane landed at the port of Biol

"Thank you for your patients, please use me anytime you want!"

the robot said to Luck, it then popped out a card from his mouth and gave it to Luck

'Weird'

Luck thought but he still took the card, the robot then left and Luck started to walk to his home it was already 6p.m, after some time walking he arrived to his neighborhood he greeted all of the cats there with a lovely pat on the head

"Hey, Caroline don't touch this!"

Destiny could have been heard from Luck's house

'What are they still doing up there?'

Luck thought, a dirty thought then came up to Luck's mind but he tried to ignore it, he then ringed the bell of his house

"WAIT!!!"

Caroline screamed, she then run to open the door

"Luck! you are finally back! come in quick!"

She said as she dragged Luck inside, she then proceeded to drag him all the way into his room, Luck was kind of disappointed when he saw what the girls were doing, the girls were hosting a drawing competition among them

"Destiny told me that you know how to draw so please join us!"

Caroline begged him

"I can't I have to finish my homework!"

"Oh don't worry about it, Destiny did it for you, so you can come and fool around!"

Luck froze up when he heard that

"I said not to do anything Destiny, so why did you do it?"

Luck asked her with a cold look in his eyes

"S-Sorry..."

Destiny told him in a sad tone, Luck then gasped

"Don't apologize, I just don't want you to do extra work for no reason... anyways what are we drawing?"

Luck asked, this question brought a warm smile to the girls' faces, they then explained the rules to Luck and they started the competition once again, the 3 of them had so much fun and before they could realize it it was already late

"Oh my god! My mom is going to kill me, I have to go!"

Destiny said in a panic, Caroline grabbed her by her hand before she could run

"Wait! Can we ask her permission for you to spend the night here?"

"ARE YOU INSANE!!! she will never let me stay over at a boy's house!"

Destiny yelled at her, Caroline smiled weirdly

'Oh no, she is up to something bad!'

Luck thought, he was a bit worried 

"We don't have to say that you will spend the night here, we can just lie and say that we are in my house"

Caroline suggested

'There is no way Destiny will agree to it'

Luck thought, after a moment of silence Destiny agreed and texted her mother

'You have to be kidding me!'

Luck thought as he face-palmed himself

"She said to take a photo to prove it! What are we going to do!"

Destiny asked scared

"Hi, hi, hi Don't worry about it!"

Caroline then snapped her fingers and the whole structure of the room changed, the room transformed into a full pink girly room, Luck and Destiny were amazed

"Don't look this surprised, this is simply the element of illusion, now Destiny take a photo!"

Caroline said, Destiny took the photo and sent it to her mother, after some seconds of thinking she accepted

"Well now that it's set how where are you going to sleep?"

Luck asked both of them

"We are girls, we can sleep in the same bed, so it isn't a problem"

Destiny said, Luck's heart skipped a beat when he heard that, Luck then took a pillow and a blanket and slowly walked out of the room, he slept on the couch once again, the girls also slept after some minutes of talking, it was quite peaceful but their sleep was shortly disturbed by Caroline

"HEY, GUYS QUICKLY WAKE UP!"

she screamed, Destiny woke up immediately since she slept beside her, Luck woke up too

"What's wrong with you why are you screaming?"

Luck asked, he was annoyed

"A natural mana zone just appeared next to your house and we are going to enter it!"

Caroline said with an excited look on her face

"What? no! Kamira wouldn't like it!"

Destiny said

"Well Kamira isn't here now, is she? Don't be afraid nothing will go wrong, I will protect you all!"

Caroline said

"Hey Luck, it doesn't seem such a bad idea, how about we try it out?"

Destiny said

"Do you really want to check it out?"

Luck asked her, Destiny nodded

"Fine give me some time to dress up and we go!"

Luck said, Caroline couldn't hold in her excitement, she was smiling the entire time

Destiny and Luck dressed up and readied themselves for the events that were about to happen
