THE STANDOFF

The cold night air was thick with tension as Philip, Clara, and Barry stood frozen, Greene’s voice echoing ominously around them. The sound of the gun cocking was a stark reminder of the danger they were in, and Philip felt his heart race as he tried to assess the situation.
