“He's the herb dealer,” Angela muttered to Damien.

Damien was floored. This was the father of a man he'd embarrassed over and over again. Surely there was no way this man would be willing to do business with him. Not only had he embarrassed Raymond, but he'd also seen to it that the idiot got arrested.

Oh well, there was no harm in at least trying.

It made sense now how Raymond had access to such a potent poison that it took a secret society to heal him.

“You don't look like much yourself, Mr. Ronchester,” Damien replied.

Angela choked back a gulp. What was he doing? Didn't the man hate him enough already?

The old man chuckled and got off the pool chair with surprising agility. “I am an old man. What's your excuse?”

“I keep running across idiots who keep distracting me with their foolishness.”

Mr. Ronchester laughed, being able to relate with what Damien said. “Yes, fools will do that. I believe we have something to discuss; an exchange of value if you will.”

Damien was floored again
