Chapter 30

“Your grandfather wants to see you,” Angela said as she sipped her hot coffee.

It'd been a day since Damien got his first task and although he'd set things in motion to accomplish it, the waiting felt unbearable. The thought that on the other side of this was a secret that could greatly improve his life was exhilarating.

“That's good. I have a lot to ask him.”

“About your cult?”

“Yes,” he said as he left his house. “You can take the day off.”

The journey had become familiar to Damien so it didn't take him as long as it usually would.

The old man was laying in a lawn chair in the garden, flanked on either side by two young women sunbathing in their bikinis.

Damien couldn't blame him. He was a billionaire who'd been given a second chance at life and was determined to make the most of it.

“Damien, my boy, these are Arya and Lana. They're twins.” He sounded proud of himself.
