Chapter 51

The chief pulled Alan away and kept him far away from Dylan. "Hey, take care of him properly. How could you let a criminal say that to the police?" The chief scolded Han, the police officer who brought Haily and Alan.

Dylan didn't want to think about Alan's words because no matter how much he tried to take Dylan's place, it wouldn't be easy to do because Dylan wasn't easy to be in his current position either.

Dylan followed the chief's steps into the building.

The building had very tall pillars with circular seats. The judge and prosecutor's place was on the big podium while the suspect would sit in the middle of the room. So anyone could see them clearly.

In addition to legal punishment, it was social punishment for Haily and Alan.

Dylan sat in the bottom row near the perpetrator and straight in front of the judge.

Shortly after Haily and Alan took their places, the judge and prosecutor entered the room. Other government officers began to fill the empty seats.
