"Besides, it's unusual for you to still be up at this hour, Angelica. Is something bothering you?" Richard asked again, looking at Angelica intently.

Angelica sighed at Richard's question. Why did she feel like she was being interrogated now? If she had known it would be like this, she would have chosen not to greet Richard and let him go wherever he wanted.

"The air in my room felt stuffy, that's why I decided to get some fresh air outside."
