5. Feast for beasts or burning furnace

     Daniel’s heart throbbed with his ears properly concentrated on the words of the mistress waiting for her next statement

“P-please, H-have mer-cy on us.” Stella thin voice mingled with fear, her body trembled rapidly with her eyes already red and sour with tear

“Oh yes, this is the correct face before death.” The man who dragged them in mocked pounding on his feet

“Okay, which would you prefer,” The mistress eyes narrow while a wicked smirk immediately appeared on her face “Yourselves as Feast to wild creatures in the forest, or get thrown into the furnace.”

   Daniel and Stella finally locked their gaze to each other, they already knew what they wanted, but they looked into each other eyes to remember their selves

“Fifteen seconds to decide.”

“We prefer the forest.” Daniel’s voice was blur but steady with his words. The mistress instantly gave a thunderous laughter after hearing their decision, after some seconds she stopped laughing and turned to Daniel who stared at her with surprise

“You two think you are wise eh.” She glared at them both with a smiling face “You think you could escape from the forest eh, you are so pathetically foolish if you think so, but well its your decision so, off you go.”

    The large man instantly grabbed both Stella and Daniel who stared at each other dumbstruck, why would she laugh at their choice, was it really going to be so dangerous that there’s only a 3% chance of escaping. All these thought clinked their mind as they were violently being drawn behind the man.

   After some minutes, the man landed them abruptly on the concrete ground and knelt before a chest, he instantly opened and began to pick some tool while he murmured

“Hum, forest death are now so often, she could had thrown these two into the furnace.”

The man picked up a long rope and a pair of handcuffs which he placed into a leather bag

“Roger.” The man said to a tall hefty man who stood opposite the chest “Bring the cage to the regular zone.”

   The man, Roger nodded as a response to the man, he turned his head towards Stella and Daniel who were both staring at him

“Who are you staring at.” Roger roared at them with a snarl as he eyed them

“Please, j-just let us go, p-please.” Stella blurted out with watery eyes. The man made a loud growl upon hearing Stella’s voice

“Shut up you stupid.” The man spat, his face was vivid with a scorn as his eyes gave a harsh glare “Me, let you go when I wish you were thrown into the furnace, though I will still be satisfied with your cruel death.”

    The man was finally done after picking up a roll of thick ropes, he stood up with the ropes on his shoulder and immediately picked the two prisoners up.

   Daniel and Stella gagged helplessly as the man tied them up to a large thick tree in the forest, the atmosphere was dark due to the large shades of the various trees which prevented the light from meeting the ground. 

Daniel and Stella continued gagging with tears rolling down their eyes, everything seemed much more scarier than they had imagined, the loud screeching and barking different beast echoed. Daniel heart was pounding fast, tears was pouring down non-stop down his eyes to the leather rag which was tied to his mouth. His heart was filled with fear that he had forgotten what mission he had or even what he could do, he just stared troubled at the man who had suddenly stopped behind the tree and began to knot it

“Please.” Daniel tried to utter but the gag in his mouth restrained him only letting out a mutter of rubbish words

“Pwesh.” The man mimicked with a scoff, he walked in front of them and dusted the dust off his hand “Be happy alright, at least you’ve got to see the out-”

“Ricky, I’m here.” Roger’s forehead vomited thick sweat as both of his hands were glued to the handle of a large metallic cage covered with a thick brown leather. Getting to the front of the tree he instantly dropped it and heaved a loud sigh while he rested his hands on his wide thigh

“Good.” The man, Ricky smiled with his gaze fixed on both Daniel and Stella, he instantly turned toward the cage and removed the leather cloth from the bag revealing two small creatures who were jumping up and down the cage.

    One of the creature was the size of a football, having short legs and thick metal spikes on it body. The other creature was a bit larger having a thick brown skin with cracks of burning fire, it eyes was an incarnation of hell as the burning fire in it burned powerfully.

«Hello host, these two creature may be you first target, hope you get them. Anyways here are their info»

“As you can see, these two here are intermediate creature and you will die after they escape from this temporary prison.” Ricky smirked at Daniel and Stella who had their eyes glued to the crazy creatures

“You’re scared eh.” Roger scoffed and immediately turned his head toward Ricky

“So, is it still going to work.”

“Yes, of course.” Ricky dipped his hand into the deep pocket of his trousers and brought out a bagful of coin “You know what to do , I don’t need to remind you right.”

Roger nodded with a smile and snatched the bag out of the Ricky’s hand

“Two hundred acres of land, hundred building wood and forty concrete bricks.”

“Good, now get going.” Ricky turned around toward Daniel and Stella while Roger sped off.

     Daniel and Stella who had been listening were dumbfounded with the purchase Roger was going to make, a large amount of land and building materials seemed like they were going to build a large society or estate.

“What are you listening to eh, anyways that’s not important since you have little more time,” Ricky glanced to the lock of the cage which gradually began to open due to the poor lock with a dying and old stick of wood. He instantly turned around and began to hurry away from the scene. Within seconds the surrounding was not visible to Daniel, Stella and the angry creatures that banged on the door of the cage.
