“Oh, okay.” The lady jotted down his words and turned towards them “All other necessary things will be done after your guild is complete.”

Daniel’s jaw dropped, it was almost impossible to find a complete guild members within three days. He turned around frustrated and instantly made his way toward the exit door furiously while Stella followed him quietly.

Getting outside, the man who guarded the door stopped them with a dirty smirk on his face

“They kick you out eh.”

Stella instantly gave a death glare at him upon hearing his words, her face already fumed with anger while her eyes narrowed

“For your f*ucking information, we made our guild and we are going to return here in two days.” Stella angrily poked at him while Daniel watched her in agape

 “Bet me, motherfu*ker.”

Stella now made the lead as she immediately turned around and hurried down the stairs leaving Daniel to follow behind.

Roger stood in front of the tall bloody tree which was previously tied to Stella and Daniel, he walked closer to the dried blood stain on the tree and smell it.

“Hum, I knew those slaves were up to something,” Roger sniffed the blackish red blood again and groaned “These are blood of animals, those two might had escape. I better inform Ricky of this.”

….

Roger and Ricky sat mutely on a long bench. Ricky pounded his feet violently on the ground after hearing Roger’s discovery

“Does this mean that they had an ability during these months.” Ricky muttered with a frustrated voice, he glanced at Roger for some seconds and looked away “Anyways, when are we expecting to start building.”

“Ehh, in ten days. But we’ll need to hire a mason before that time.”

“Nah, we’ll just order some slaves to do the work.”

“Noo.” Roger retorted instantly, he stood up from the bench and snarled at him “We need quality works alright, not one we’ll be fixing every month.”

    Roger sighed and walked away.

“Stella, why were you so furious out there.” Daniel ran closer to Stella who continued walking angrily

“I’ve been angry lately and I don’t even know why.” Stella instantly stopped walking and heaved a sigh “Maybe it’s because I spent a lot of time being a slave instead of experiencing the world.”

“I think I’ll still be in the pit if wasn’t for you,” Another ocean of tears crawled out from the corner of her eyes “It’s just a whole mix of emotion, happiness, sadness, shame-”

“Anger, frustration.” Daniel turned his gaze to the sky which was already pitch dark “But above all we need to stop this melodrama and hurry to the tavern over there.”

Daniel pointed to a lit house which was directly opposite the hall. Stella wiped away her tears immediately, making her way toward the tavern.

Crack!

A light cracking sound followed by a cheer of laughter, erupted from the room as soon as Daniel opened the brown wooden door of the tavern, Stella hurried into the room leaving Daniel to follow after and shut the door.

“Wow, I’ve never seen a tavern this lively all my life.” Daniel couldn’t even hear his own voice, a wide smile instantly crept into his face as he threw glances at all the different types of activities that took place. He subconsciously walked to a vacant stool and sat on it admiring everything that his eyes could see.

Meanwhile, Stella stood beside some group of men who arranged themselves on a circular shape. At their center was a medium sized pot which was covered with tight brown lid

“I’m gonna do it.” One of the men laughed and instantly grabbed the pot which he began to shake violently. After some seconds of serious shaking, the man opened the lid and poured out of content on the on the ground.

A loud hiss vibrated in the room from a snake like creature which curled itself around multiples gold and silver coins. A minute of silence fell between the contestants who patiently waited for the right time to grab those coins.

Zing! Zing!

Hearing the cling of the bell the contestants without wasting any time began to grab some coins while also trying their best to avoid the sting of the creature which violently uncurled itself trying to catch each and every single hand that invaded its supposed treasure.

After some time, a plump elven man screamed in terror immediately after getting stung by the creature. A wide and deep hole made by the sharp and long fang of beast pulled him out of his sitting position and run out to find a cure as the sting could be deadly if not attended to for a long period of time.

Stella could not stop herself from smiling, the game seemed so fun and drew her interest, but after seeing the wound the creature caused, her interested shattered into pieces but she still enjoyed watching. Very soon, another man jumped on his feet realizing that he had been stung, he grabbed his coins which was behind him and ran toward Stella who seemed to be the most trustworthy person around and dumped the gold on her arm, running away in order to cure his sting.

Stella stared in shock at the coin which settled in her palms, she instantly counted it only realizing it was a total of six golden coin and three silver. Her eyes choked at her, her mind instantly pushed in the idea of running away with the coins but that would only define her as a thief.

The coins were really tempting but she pushed away the thought and stood there waiting for the man’s return. The corner of her eyes built up tears thinking about the large amount of coin she was going to lose.

Just amidst her thought she felt a gentle tap at her arm. She jumped from her daydreaming to find the man staring at her with a smile with his palm outstretched.

“Oh, sorry.” Stella instantly dumped the coin on his palm with a pounding breath. The man smiled again and diverted to the game which was already over and few new contestants.

The snake like creature was already placed back into it pot while the contestants dropped a total of three gold coin and a silver coin in the pot. Once they were done, they sat down in their respective position leaving one of the men to shake the pot.

As soon as the man was done, he opened the lid of the pot and poured out the content.

       Roderick!

       Roderick!

A chant instantly oozed through the room. Stella fixed her eyes on Roderick, a fine elven teenage man who seemed to be in his early twenties. He was picking almost all the coin easily without getting hurt by the creature.

A smile curled into Stella’s cheek, she recognized him vividly especially since he was the man who dumped his coin on her.

After some minutes the coin on the ground were all gone, Roderick was in control of all of them and had left a few for the others. He stood up from the ground with pride upon hearing his name being chanted by every person in the room apart from the other contestants of course.

“Hey, you’re a very sly character. I don’t trust you.” Another contestants sprang up from the ground, causing a seize to the chant. Roderick eyes flung to the man who had a perfect  body build.

“And what do you mean by that.”
