Chapter 2-The Dragons gates

Their embrace lasted for hours. Yue slept out after sobbing for a long time in his hug. It was getting close to nightfall outdoors. It was starting to grow dark.

She was still resting in his lap. He was caressing of her hair. He eventually woke her up.

"It's getting late, Yue'er. You should return right now. Uncle and aunt may be concerned."

She rushed here without informing anyone. She was the only one who knew of Bao's reawakening.

"I don't want to be too far away from you. I'll spend the night here. What if you leave me again?" Yue said

He was moved when he heard her say that.

He had no idea how she felt when he was in a coma. For her, It had been three months of separation, yet it seemed like an eternity to him. He searched all ten thousand worlds for her.

For this day, he cultivated for hundreds of thousands of years. He desired to spend this life time with her. He wanted a hundred years of romance with her. He wanted to offer her all of the happiness till the end of her, till his heart no longer felt anything. But little did he know what his fate would bring.

"Yue'er don't make them worried for nothing"

"I am now Perfectly all right. I just need to sleep. I wont leave you again, "He spoke to her. Hearing those comments from him made her feel a little better.

"Avoid excessive movement. You've just recovered consciousness. Your body has yet to adjust to unexpected movements."

She slowly rose to her feet. When it came to him, she was still a worrywart. Before leaving,

She returned her gaze.

"Okay, then I'll come tomorrow. I will notify others of your recuperation and contact me if you are not feeling well." She departed after saying that.

It was late at night. He was the sole occupant of the room. He had no idea what had happened or how he had returned to his original body. When he was in the immortal world, thousands of years should have passed.

But, to his surprise, it had only been three months here. Despite considering several alternatives, he was unable to reach a resolution.

He could only think of two alternatives. The first was that this may be a sealed world, with the passage of time isolated from it. As a result, time moves slowly here.

The second hypothesis was that this planet was lost or abandoned due to dwindling spiritual vitality and the separation of worldly laws.

He wouldn't think that this galaxy was in a separate universe because he could see the same constellation in the vast sky even while he was in the immortal world.

It seemed like waking up from a long, never-ending nightmare, yet he knew everything that transpired in that universe was true.He lived an immortal life in that world for hundreds of thousands of years; he looked for the Milky Way galaxy for thousands of years and was still clueless; now that he is here, he would finally uncover what secrets are concealed in the Milky Way galaxy.

He had no idea what that thing in that star that was brighter than the star itself was, and the galaxy in which his planet is located had suddenly become an unfamiliar and mystery galaxy to him.

He was not impatient.

[Once I regain my strength, I shall find answers to all of my questions.]

For the time being, he needed to gather energy and lay the foundation for his future path.

[The spiritual vitality in this planet is incredibly thin, nearly nonexistent.]

With this much energy and time to devote, it would take him years merely to lay the foundation. He could feel something unusual about his body, but he couldn't sense it deep inside with his present level of awareness.

It was a peaceful night spent alone in a room.He was sitting in a meditative position. He gently began to twirl his hand, forming a yin-yang symbol. In the immortal world, this technique was a well kept family secret of his.

The level of the skill was unclear, but it resembled the laws of devouring, in which a user constructs a diagram in mid-air. It was the most effective means of collecting energy he could currently use without the usage of foreign material.

Despite the fact that this was their secret technique, he and his family members had no idea where it came from. They were simply told that it was handed to their ancestor by someone very powerful and linked to their half-bloodline.

Slowly, energy from his surroundings began to accumulate in his body. He distributed those little energy throughout his whole body. He wanted to reawaken every bodily tissue that had been disorganized as a result of his coma.

After some times, His internal body was in good condition like a healthy person, but he didn't stopped and kept gathering energy.

The cultivation levels are separated into several sections.

Energy refinement,

Foundation establishment, and

core formation are the first three stages.

Every individual who are cultivating the path to immortality or for any other objective must first go through these phases.

They would be unable to face tribulations if their foundation crumbled, and they may perish in the middle.

In the immortal world, if a person cannot construct their foundation before the age of 12, they are considered average and who had no talent in cultivation. Because of his heritage and the situation he was in, Bao was became a genius in the immortal world.

But This world's surroundings lacked energy essence. He is now in his original body, and the environment here is not favorable to cultivation.

But he was once someone who stood above the myriad people looking below all.  He had amassed a variety of secret skills and cultivation techniques during the course of his life in that world.

Even in that world, each skill is comparable to a sect's inheritance, but not every cultivation technique was suited for him in his current body, so he picked various sets of skills to compensate for low surrounding energy.

His old acquaintance had left one of the cultivation techniques. It was named "twelve variation of Dragon Gates." Its primary purpose was to increase physical strength and defense. He only has seven variations, Others had gone missing.

Bao learned that method in the immortal world to strengthen his body's durability and combat strength. He and his friend were unable to see its full power of seven varieties since they lacked the blood of a true dragon.

Bao and his old friend had mixed blood in the past, thus they couldn't unleash their full power. Bao worked on dragon gates until he reached the sixth variation. He was able to silence everyone with it alone while still in the lower realm.

It was not intended for humans to practice, but while he is still in the mortal world, this skill might tremendously benefit him, therefore he chooses to practice it.

The first three phases involve little effort; all that is required is user patience and a strong will.

The life gate was the first of the seven gates. It is divided into four phases.

Muscle/scale refinement,

Bone refinement,

Blood refinement, and

Marrow refinement.

It was not intended for humans since their mortal bodies and brains would not be able to take the amount of pain involved, but dragons have a natural physique with high resilience.

However, in compared to mortals, Bao's mind and will were several orders of magnitude greater. He was not afraid of pain or adversity. What he despised the most were those who gave up without even attempting.

He was still gathering energy from his surroundings. It was just after midnight, and the moon was shining brightly. He abruptly opened his eyes and ceased accumulating energy. He got out of bed and stood up. His physique had been entirely revitalized.

He began to move slowly in a certain direction. As he moved ahead, he began to hear cries. At first, it was a single cry, but as he drew closer to that location, more cries began to be heard.
