Yue was conversing with Bao when she received a call from the hospital, saying she needed to attend a meeting, so she left Bao to rest at the mansion.
It was time for Bao to lay the foundation; he had already refined all of the energy collected by arrays into a pure form the size of a soccer ball, so he went to the back of the mansion and ordered that no one disturb him in his rest!
He walked to the sacred fig/Bo tree, sat under it, and began concentrating all of the remaining pure energies into his abdomen. Creating a ball of energy around his abdomen
He swirls his hand in a yin-yang pattern. It was that nameless secret skill that began accumulating energy from the environment, primarily from the old tree he was seated beneath. It had amassed a significant amount of spiritual energy throughout its life, But this energy didn't reach his abdomen, where his pure ball of energy resided, instead it surrounded his entire body, leaving thin clouds around his skin.
It was planned to open the life gate, and while he could do so later after strengthening his foundation, doing so now would have distinct effect. When someone enters a significant realm, for a brief duration, they lose their sense of the body due to a sudden overflow of a large amount of energy in their body. The flow of blood to one's brain ceases for a little period during which time the person is unable to feel anything.
Bao intended to use this opportunity to start the first stage of muscle refinement while also establishing his foundation. He began by laying down his foundation, then began to follow what was in seven variations, allowing those energies to integrate into his skin. Then he started slowly rotating that ball of pure refined energy in his abdomen.
After a brief moment, that energy ball, which was the size of a soccer ball, was compressed to the size of a cricket ball, and then again to the size of a golf ball. It continued to shrink until it was the size of a marble, at which point it began to release energy slowly at first, but suddenly energy began to overflow. Apart from that compressed energy, all other energy spread throughout Bao's internal body.
His flow of blood stopped and he lost his senses at that moment due to an overflow of energy in his internal body, but he had already experienced this several times and while he lost his senses, he did not lose control of his body.
He directed his body's energies to every region of his muscle, and he followed the muscle refinement process. His entire body turned a pale red as if it had been boiled. He understood what it felt like after integrating energy into muscle and every part of his body, even if he couldn't feel anything.
All of your body hairs would feel like needles prodding you in all directions, and all of your muscles would tear and develop new tissue to build a stronger bond. If done without precautions, it would be a very painful experience.
Finally, all of the energy that was running amok in his internal body compressed in that marble-sized ball, forming a vortex that sucked up all of those energies. The raging force pushed all the fatal impurities trapped in his body, amassed in 23, years.
Leaves began to fall from that old tree as its energy was drained, and a sudden gust of wind blew away the surrounding leaves. This was not natural wind; it was created when the energy began to release from the marble-size core, also known as a quasi-core; the actual core much different than that.
After a while, the maid came to see how he was doing. What she discovered horrified her: their guest was covered in filth, his clothes were all dirty, and he appeared to have slid in a puddle of muddy water. she assisted him to his room and prepared a bath before leaving.
Bao bathed three times to thoroughly eliminate the odor and filth from his body. He returned to the Bo tree after showering and closed his eyes, meditating to strengthen his foundation. He was spreading his senses around the mansion by dusk.
He examined his soul power after the breakthrough, and though his soul power was a quasi-immortal soul while he was in the immortal world at his prime, he suffered soul-shattering pain before his death by that mysterious light, and he didn't know how much harm was done to his soul.
He couldn't look deep into his soul with his foundation stage energy. Even if half of his quasi-immortal soul survived, he would be unable to perceive due to his low power; it would be equivalent to throwing a stone into an ocean to determine its depth; it would be useless.
However, he can still use his soul skills, which are supported by his energy. So he was attempting to figure out how far he could sense at this point. When he was in the immortal world, his sense could span the entire ten thousand worlds except for locations where sense can not penetrate, thus he was not astonished if his soul was harmed.
Yue's parents and two other unknown guests appeared at the gate. One was an old man of comparable age to Chen Luo, and the other was a young girl perhaps 3-4 years younger than Yue. He saw faint energy in that other elderly man's body, but something was wrong with his body, and he was a step away from the foundation establishment.
He was taken aback because he had not anticipated meeting a practitioner in the city, and the other young lady appeared to have only recently begun cultivating; they appeared to know Chen Luo, so he didn't pry too much. They arrived at the mansion and were greeted by servants. As they walked around the rear of the mansion, they noticed a massive ancient tree.
"Doesn't this tree appear to have fewer green leaves than last year?" the old man asked
"I wonder if the wind accelerated their fall," old Luo speculated.
They didn't notice Bao until he opened his eyes and greeted them from beneath the old Bo tree.
"How have you been, aunt Sumi, uncle Luo?" "I apologize for showing up without notifying," Bao said
"Oh, it's Bao'er," old Luo said, "no need to be polite, yue'er has already been informed us of your arrival."
"old Luo, he is?" the old man next to him said.
"old Feng, meet Bao'er; he is Yue's childhood sweetheart," Chen Luo said.
Lu Feng, the old man beside Chen Luo, was from a distant city and had come to help old Luo handle some problems, and lu Mei, the little lady accompanying him, was his only daughter.
"You go refresh yourself while we two chat" old Feng Said
Only three people remained, after old Luo and Sumi had left. Lu Feng had already recognized that the person in front of him was strong and level above him, but Lu Mei had no idea. He approached Bao and greeted him with a palm-hold fist.
"May I inquire as to which great family this young warrior hails from?" Lu Feng inquired; lu mei was alerted after hearing what her father said to the man in front of him; she knew what this meant; he had a strong background and was stronger than her father.
"Why do you think I come from a Great family?" Bao responded with a question.
"Well, only a great family with ancient heritage could train such a young warrior as yourself," old Feng explained.
Lu Feng came from an great family with ancient heritage and recognized how difficult it was to attain this level at such a young age.
"Tell me about your relationship with uncle and aunt"
"When I was 25, I was hunted by my enemies, I was seriously injured, and I was hiding in a corner wounded, that's when I found old Luo, who nursed me selflessly later on, and we became good brothers," old Feng said.
"You seem to have been stuck in that stage for quite some time," Bao observed.
"Yes, it's been many years since that injury, and nothing major has happened; I gradually cultivated, but when I reached my bottleneck, I couldn't push through,"
"It appears you have a nice relationship with uncle and aunt, come sit beside the tree, I will aid you this once."
Old Feng had no idea what he meant by aiding him; he had sought many masters, but they had all failed him, so he had given up hope. It was strange to see a young man directing the elderly, yet he didn't object. He took a seat near an old tree.
"Now try using your energy," Bao told old Feng.
Old Feng followed the instructions. Bao closed his eyes and placed his hand on old Feng's back, passing a little quantity of energy to explore his internals. Although it is perilous for old Feng to let someone probe his meridians, there was merely some energy obstruction in some areas of his meridian. Like he'd always done, he trusted his instincts.
All of the remaining blockades were easily removed by Bao.
"Now absorb as much energy as you can from this old tree," Bao instructed old Feng, turning his gaze to the young lady who had accompanied Lu Feng.
"Little girl, explain to me why you were giving me an that expression when you first looked at me," Bao said to Lu Mei.
She did speak after he questioned whether she was sacred.
"Just tell me I'm not going to eat you,"
"I was thinking how could an above average-looking person be sister's boyfriend," the small girl finally found the guts to speak.
Hearing her say that he didn't know whether to laugh or to cry, it was true; unlike in the immortal, his original body had an above-average appearance not too handsome and not too shabby, whereas Yue was a beauty, which he couldn't dispute.
"ahem—-"
" little girl, Tell me, how did you meet Yue'er?" He changed the subject.
"I first met sister Yue in school, when she was my senior, and she used to help me in school, and we met frequently, but she later moved the city," she explained.
Time passed as they continued to discuss her time with Yue. After a half-hour, An old Feng opened his eyes when a brisk breeze went past.
"FINALLY!" exclaimed elderly Feng, as if he were a young man, "I have become a martial master!"
Lu Feng was on the verge of reaching the next level of energy condensation, but his meridians were blocked due to injuries. Bao simply removed the blockades and proceeded to the next level without difficulty.
"Young warrior, you have my thanks; if you ever need assistance, just call me," Lu Feng said to Bao lim, "even if I don't have much power in this city, if you ever come to City Z, just call for Lu family."
When he mentioned he came from a great family, he wasn't bragging. He was the current leader of the Lu family of city z, a prestigious family with tremendous power and influence, and he came all the way here to help Chen Luo because of their relationship.
"You came here to assist uncle and aunt, so of course, I'll assist you; nevertheless, what do you mean by becoming martial master?"
Lu Feng was puzzled. Someone cultivating didn't know the martial ranks, but he didn't ask because he assumed he was from a hidden family.
"Martial artist ranks are split into four primary stages: lesser warrior, martial master, grandmaster, and high mortal," Lu Feng explained. "Each stage has three subsidiary stages: early, intermediate, and peak."
It was to be expected that the naming of stages differed from that of the immortal world. Bao came to a conclusion after listening to elder Feng's description of ranks and their strength.
The energy condensation stage was a warrior,
The martial master stage was the foundation establishment stage.
Grandmaster was the stage of core formation stage
The nascent soul may be a high mortal.
Because Lu Feng believed Bao was barely at peak energy condensation, he dubbed him as a young warrior. Bao was mistaken for a warrior since he had already developed a quasi core, which is similar to energy being condensed.
"How many high-mortal martial artists are there in the country?" Bao inquired,
"Well, I haven't met any, their existence is a mystery, and they don't seem to meddle in mortal problems," Lu Feng replied. "Even meeting the grandmaster is difficult because most of the time they are hidden, and cultivating only marital master could be found in the city."
"you should go inside, I believe uncle and aunt are waiting for you by now."
Lu Feng then proceeded to the mansion, while Lu Mei strolled alongside her father. He asked about the existence of a high mortal because anyone who could reach a nascent soul stage in this world with thin energy had to be related to those formation in the hospital or a reincarnated person, both of which were unpleasant.
After old Feng and Lu Mei entered the mansion, Bao meditated for a time under the old tree, and Yue returned from her work later that evening. She was surprised to meet Lu mei and began chatting with her. "Big sister Yue," lu mei said, hugging Yue. "Little Mei, when did you come? Shouldn't you have told me?" Yue asked while patting her on the head gently. "I wanted to surprise big sister yue. That's why I told them not to tell sister " little mei responded Bao went inside the mansion, he knew that meditating under the tree at night was not a smart idea. When lu mei saw him approaching, she grabbed Yue's hands and hid behind her; seeing her terrified, he could only laugh uncomfortably. "Have you two already met, little mei?" Yue asked "Yes," she said softly. "Did you bully little mei?" "No, I think she's just afraid I'll take her big sister for myself," She didn't understand what he meant at first. She blushed red after a split second. They then went to the living room, where h
While talking Bao and Yue stayed on the roof for a while, it was almost spring, when a sharp breeze passed by, they grew cold and went inside the mansion. "How is the discussion with the other party going, Yue'er? Was the orphanage saved?" They had been trying to solve this problem for over a week and had even sought assistance from Lu Feng. "No, it isn't solved yet," Yue said, "but father said it should be resolved in the next two to three days." It was difficult to keep the conversation on track because the other side was backed by someone powerful. "Oh, hold on a second, here's your phone. I've added my contact, as well as my father's, mother's, and our driver's, so you won't have to wait for a taxi next time" After that, they both walked to their rooms, and Bao sat in a meditative posture to check his core formation process, as he had formed a quasi core when he constructed his foundation. Although accumulating energy without needing to meditate sounds great, those in the upp
When Bao and Lu Feng arrived on the second floor, guards stood at the door, asking for membership card. Old Feng showed his cards, and the guards let them in. "are those guards?" "They are not guards; they are only there to verify membership," old Feng explained. "Membership? Didn't you mention that everyone can enter the pagoda?" "Well, that rule only applies to the first floor; above that, you'll need a membership card, which is different depending on how much you spend inside the pagoda," old Feng said. "Oh, how many floors can you can get on with that card?" "Silver, gold, diamond, and platinum membership cards are ranked from lowest to highest. Only the third floor is accessible with my gold card "explained Lu Feng "Has anyone made it to the top floor?" "To go to the fifth floor, you need a platinum card, and those cards are limited in quantity, so only the wealthiest can receive one," old Feng said. They saw a lot of individuals on the second floor, although less than on
When Bao and old Feng returned to the mansion, it was almost evening; old Luo and Sumi were present at the time and returned before them. After that, Bao returned to his room with the items he had purchased, and he pulled out the stone that the elderly man had given him for free. Despite the fact that he claimed the stone was from outer space and that astronomy was used to cover it up. He recognized the stone at first glance; it was a Moon-stone. This type of stone is not unusual in the immortal world and can be mined from any desolate star, but here in this isolated world, its worth was no less than a diamond, and if someone knowledgeable were to discover it, it would be one of the most priceless treasures. Moon-stone is comparable to energy crystals formed by the condensation of spiritual energy, but it differs from energy crystals in that it contains other types of minerals and impurities that energy crystals do not have. If one is skilled at removing impurities, those minerals co
Bao refined high-grade common pills for body strengthening two days after Bao and old Feng visited the clear sky pagoda. Those pills were not for him, and they were common pills, thus they were ineffective for his body. Body strengthening pills of less than profound grade were worthless to him due to his practice of a variation of Dragon gate. He used to do alchemy in his spare time, despite not being an alchemy genius. When he was in the immortal world, he used to do alchemy with a friend. His friend was later crowned Alchemy Emperor. Despite the title, his friend could refine pills of emperor grade and higher; he was a true alchemy genius. A day ago, old Feng informed Bao that there would be a match in the arena at the end of each month, with three fights between old Feng's fighter and the other party's fighter, to settle the matter of the orphanage, which was shortly to be replaced by a factory. Bao wanted to assist old Feng, so he concocted several body strengthening pills for th
When Bao was born in Decem-milia realm, his name was Hai Rong, and his family name was Hai. They were a subspecies of the Dragon race, yet Hai Rong and his family lived in coastal locations. Their rank was inferior compared to other Dragons due to their being hybrids of an unknown species, but nonetheless, compared to other races like humans, monsters, and barbarians, they were far more magnificent and majestic. At first, he was astonished to know that other extraterrestrial life also existed, exactly like in mythology. Unlike other young children who like playing or training, he spent his time at the library learning about the world's history and diverse geographies. After going to the library to read every day, at the age of 9, he finished reading every book in that sect's library. He got to know different races, their relationships, and their history. But the library here mostly included works dealing to dragons and their surrounds, and not the races in the wider Decem-Milia realm
Several days passed after Bao went to the arena, and the orphanage was saved, other parties also returned to the neighboring lands, old Feng took all the credits but Bao didn't mind. Old Feng and his daughter returned to their family as well, because he was the family's head and his presence was crucial. Bao was bored while staying in the mansion; his core was already a perfect mortal core; to progress to the next stage, which is the nascent soul, he needed a massive amount of energy, which he currently lacked; he would need another ten or more years to gather the amount of energy required, if he didn't find some good spiritual treasure. Yue noticed him being bored and wearing the same three outfits over and over, so she took him on a shopping date. Bao's mood brightened after going out with her; she chose several fashionable clothing for him. It was almost dark, so she brought him to a fine restaurant to finish their date. While they were eating, an unwanted guest arrived at their
Inside the mansion, Bao took out the red jade he had obtained from stone gaming in order to create a rune from it. Despite not being a runemaster, he can still channel some of his strength into that jade, which can protect the holder's life. He initially chopped the jade into a rectangle and then two circular shapes. Then he began refining that jade while infusing his rune symbols. He formed a protection rune for Yue and her parents because he couldn't be with them everywhere. Even if the attacker are a peak core formation master they wouldn't be able to harm them. After that, Bao went to a jewelry store and purchased a necklace and two rings with the money on the black card. He returned to the mansion and inserted a rectangular jade pendant into the necklace and a circular jade into the rings he had purchased. When he had done laying the rune-jade, he took out the moon-stone that the old man had given him in the clear sky pagoda. He wanted to use the minerals in the moon-stone for
