He walked slowly to exit as the laugher continued. He left the hall and now he was outside the school soaked and cold. He walked straight to his bike. When he got to his bike, he saw it on the floor and it was all crushed to pieces. He knew who did it and it got him even angrier. He stood up and that was when it hit him, he realized that he has not been home. He was scared because of his mother, he wondered how worried his mother must be feeling knowing that he did not come home last night. He quickly got himself and started to head home. So many thoughts were on his mind. The thought of what happened last night at the dance, the strange man that spilled some kind of liquid on him that made him pass out and especially his mother being worried sick about him. It was the weekend and Derick has been at home since the day of the dance. His mother had been in her room and sometimes he goes down to check up on her. It was the next morning and Derick was awake, he was in the shower and he took a while there. When he finished in the shower, he came out and wore his cloths. He did not understand what he just did and he could not control his anger. He looked around and saw how scared and surprised everyone in the cafeteria was. Derick got off his bed and slowly went to the shower. He took his time in the shower because he was up early. When he finished taking a shower, he went on to brush his teeth and after that he wore some clean cloths. He finished preparing and was ready for school, but as he was about to leave his room he felt an urge not to leave, he felt like something bad was going to happened today. Celia stood up from the bed and went into the shower. She stayed there for a while because she was thinking. After a while, she came out of the shower with a tower wrapped around her body. She dried her hair and then put on some clothes, clothes that her friend gave her because she did not come with any. If it was on normal circumstances, Celia would have enjoyed staying with her friend, because here she felt okay and it was better than staying in her house, with her father. Dr. Edward walked into the lab and looked around but there was no one in the lab. Ben ran into the lab and stood at the entrance, he looked around and there was no sign of Celia, Derick or john. Ben was relieved and at the same time confused, he wondered where they must have gone to. “I am not surprised, your lab is really impressive.” Dr. Edward said as he continued to walk around the lab. Ben relaxed so that he would not seem suspicious, “So why did you want to see my lab anyway.” “Well you can say as a scientist I like to admire labs and yours is fine.” Dr. Edward answered. “You started to feel this way when you first saw Celia this morning.” Ben said. “Yeah so what does that mean?” Derick asked. “I need you help uncle ben, it is really important.” Celia said “Come in quickly.” Ben said. Ben opened the door fully and Celia, John and Derick entered the house. They were now in the house, and the interior was even more impressive. There were few furnitures, almost everything in the house was white including the walls. The house was spotless, there was no sign of dirt anyway. As the water from the shower went down her body, the dirts on her body washed off. She felt calm and relaxed but she did not know why. She thought about what John said about her when she left the living room but the thought went away because she did not care about it. But she did not blame them for not trusting her, she understood why. She now understand everything that was going on, why her father is on the run and also about the chemical. But she still wanted to see her father, she wanted to talk to him so he can stop all these before things gets out of control or before he ends up killing someone.
