6. Osvaldo Family

After buying expensive clothes for Floryn before they went to her parents' place. They also bought a luxury watch that would be given to Jack - Andrew's father-in-law later on. 

Because this is the most luxurious gift that will be given to his father-in-law. Andrew had also bought a diamond necklace for his mother-in-law. At the very least, don't let others take her for granted anymore. Especially Poppy and her husband who always insulted her like that. 

Now, there would be no more room for Poppy and the others to insult Andrew because their social status had changed drastically. 

After setting foot at Osvaldo's residence. He finally parked his luxury car in front of the mansion. 

Getting out of there, Jack greeted him. "Whose car are you taking, Andrew?" 

Floryn finally spoke up. "It's our car, Dad. It's the result of Andrew's hard work over the years." 

Just look at the reaction of Floryn's mother who was immediately happy to hear that it was Andrew's car. 

They were both invited inside. There were a dozen family members present, each with a gift for Osvaldo. Andrew's most annoying old grandfather. The one who had always insulted Andrew's marriage and work was his grandfather Floryn. 

It was a very relaxed dinner. Then Floryn's mother opened the conversation. "Andrew, tell Grandpa. You have a luxury car worth hundreds of thousands of dollars." 

Meanwhile, Andrew just sighed at that. 

Osvaldo looked coldly at Andrew. "Where did you get that kind of money, Andrew? Even your salary at work never reaches ten thousand dollars per month." 

"Grandpa, stop insulting my husband. Because Andrew is the son of Mr. Smith. His real name is Ethan Alexander Smith. He owns a well-known company in Toronto and is now in Manhattan. He is the richest man here." 

Osvaldo's reaction was instant astonishment. "My husband also bought a house for over twenty million dollars." Floryn said. 

A two-minute pause. Everyone laughed as they heard Floryn's story as a fictitious one. "You're hallucinating too much my granddaughter. You're even a respectable woman who married this man with no self-respect. The Steward family is poor. You chose their son to be brought into the Osvaldo family." 

"Grandpa, both of our houses are much bigger than yours." 

Andrew raised his hand to silence his wife. The atmosphere was no longer conducive. They were all whispering to each other, laughing at what Floryn had done, which was considered a great joke. 

When he heard their laughter. Andrew took the gift out of his jacket. He took out a luxury watch box for Jack. Also bought a necklace for Selena. 

The woman saw the name of a world-famous jewelry store. As if her mouth couldn't say anything. "Andrew, you?" asked Selena nervously when she saw it was real. 

Everyone there was stunned as Jack and Selena opened their gifts. Not forgetting also for Andrew to hand over a luxury watch to Osvaldo. "I haven't forgotten you old man." Osvaldo said no matter if it was polite or not. Because he considered that the old man had been very insolent in insulting his poverty. 

The old man immediately opened the gift that Andrew had given him. "You didn't rob a bank, Andrew?" asked his brother Floryn. 

"I already told you. That Andrew is Mr. Smith's son. Watch what you say, he even has a black card for unlimited spending. He even has hundreds of thousands of dollars in his account." 

They were all shocked by Flory's confession about Andrew's true family circumstances. Then Floryn's older brother picked up the watch in Osvaldo's hand. "It must be a fake." 

Osvaldo snatched the watch back. "You're probably brand blind. You can't tell the difference between real and fake watches. Even Jack smiled at the watch in his hand and looked stunning." 

Meanwhile, Andrew remained silent as they all argued. He continued eating. Selena then smiled. "Andrew, are you really Mr. Smith's son?" 

"I will be leading the company in Manhattan starting tomorrow. I've resigned from the company I was working for. I'm moving in with Floryn. I won't be living in that small apartment that grandfather always insulted." 

Everyone's reaction was still so hateful to Andrew's confession. And so did Osvaldo. Then the watch was taken by his uncle Floryn and destroyed. "You don't look honest at all, Andrew. You are poor and will remain poor. Wanting to look like you're a rich man, doing everything to make us believe what you have now. You're disgusting." 

But that wasn't what made him angry. But the watch that was given to Osvaldo was shattered with the glass already broken, and also the movement had come out. "How can you replace this uncle? Even the price is very expensive." 

"You are a robber, Andrew. There's no way you can afford all this stuff." 

Jack sighed. "You have no right to do this to my son-in-law. Andrew is my most beloved son-in-law." 

Later in the messy dinner. Andrew said goodbye and took Floryn home when things got out of hand. Andrew also invited his mother-in-law to go home. 

He drove his mother-in-law home. Before they left that place. Jack said. "I hope you didn't do what Floryn's family accused you of." 

"Dad, I'll definitely do what's best for your daughter."

Jack rubbed Andrew's shoulders. Selena also greeted him. The woman smiled and immediately gave permission for the two of them to leave. 

Honestly, she was reluctant to meet Floryn's extended family. "I assumed that they were all good people. But I was wrong, they are disgusting people." 

The plan was to invite Floryn to move for a few days. Instead, he invited Floryn to their luxurious home that very night. "Did you really buy this house?" 

Andrew wasn't lying to his wife. Everything was serious. He remembered his uncle's words from back in the day, who was always messing up Andrew's household. "I'm sorry if I'm going to ruin your uncle's life one day, Floryn. I can't stand what he's doing." 

The woman didn't seem to mind. "I don't care." 

Andrew took off his black suit and walked his wife to her room. "I hope someday you bear me two children, Floryn. I will work hard for you. Especially getting rid of the bad guys who have broken your heart." 

In the past, Selena had disliked their marriage. But tonight, her reaction was completely different. 

"I think that Mother has already approved of our relationship."
