Grunts echoed all around as the sounds of kicks and punches connecting with flesh rang clear in the atmosphere. The smell of sweat was heavy in the air and everyone in the gym was either working out, sparring, or simply involved in one activity or the other in preparation for what was to come. The male occupants were dressed in white gi while the females were dressed in blue.

The sensei walked around with his assistant just a few steps behind. He would give the occasional nod or offer correction and advice when needed.
