CHAPTER FIFTEEN

The text was enough to clear my worries. I walked out of the room. Her text reminded me of the trip I had planned. Since it was getting dark, I returned to the kitchen, where I and Alice had our dinner. For dinner, we had rice and fish. Alice had made the dinner , so I said nothing about how sticky the rice was, nor how raw the fish was. So when she asked me, “Is the food good? “ I stuffed my mouth with rice and fish, and nodded my head furiously. I couldn’t say that the food she made was sticky and not well cooked.

Seeing my nod, Alice looked at me suspiciously and took a bite of the food on her plate. She looked at me and directly spat the food on her plate. She hurriedly drank the water. Frowning at me, she said, “How come you are still eating this sh*t? “
