Once more the couple embarked on the journey of parenthood, but this time, with more care and fear. They were so careful because they could not afford to lose this child this time around. After they were done for each day, Rosa would have their meals waiting for them, even though they protested by saying they were not children anymore and tried to get her to rest. Carlson was still in shock when he returned to his dorm room. He had no idea what to do and for a moment, he began to regret why he told Leighton to stay behind. Hours and hours later, after the procedure was complete, Cade opened his eyes again. The Doctor allowed only Raegan to go in to see him.
