AMBUSHED

Cade's security staff had only assembled and were waiting for his command when his phone rang. He hurriedly picked it up thinking it was Raegan, but his flare was cut short when he remembered that he was holding Raegan's phone in his other hand. It was an unknown number calling and he had a bad feeling about it.

"Yes?" He said grumpily into the phone.

"Baby?" Raegan's shaky voice spoke from the other end of the line.

"Raegan?! Where are you? Why are you crying? Are you hurt?" Cade asked. He was already furrowing his brows from concern. He was angry at whoever dared to take her from him.

"I'm – I'm..." Her voice went off and the call was cut off.

Immediately after that, Cade received a text and a video clip alongside the text, showing Raegan in a room alone, her hands tied to the back of the chair where her legs were also tied.
