As the call went off. Cassandra looked at her son, waiting for a word. Alex gave her the news.

"It's been done." He said to his mother. She nodded in satisfaction.

"So we can proceed to the next plan?"

"Yes, we can. He must be thrown off guard by now."

"And we can drink to his downfall now.”

"Of course! I'll get the drink!" Alex said excitedly. He went to the mini bar just before the dining room and picked up a glass of champagne and flutes for his mother and himself. It was time to celebrate. He poured out the drink in both glasses and they raised up their glasses to a toast.

"Here's to being clever," Alex said.

"And here's to what is to come," Cassandra said and they drank up happily. After they set down their drinks, Cassandra had a question for her child.
