COURT VICTORY

"Your honor," the lawyer saluted as he began. "We have heard the prosecutor speak and now I will take up some points of his that I find disagreeable." The lawyer paused for a moment as if to gain his stance before continuing.

"The defendant claimed that his client locked up the Bellwethers illegally to prevent them from fleeing the country again, as well as making way for Mr Barnes to appear before the board members of his company. Now, while all that is reasonable, am I sure the defendant knows that that was a case of limitation of one's right to movement by another? What if one of them had died while in unlawful captivity? While the client of the defendant was trying to protect his own interest as a result of the bitter vengeance that burnt in his heart, he forgot that the Bellwethers are first humans before they are to him, callous people.
