Raegan led the way and they went to the garden. The walk to the garden was plagued with an awkward air so that Raegan began to hum a song and Cade followed suit, humming a different song and they both produced a disastrous melody together. The beginning of the date was even more awkward and disastrous than the walk had been. They got to the garden and Cade saw that as the president had said, it was decorated in the most romantic way he had seen. He wondered why the president had done this. He would ask Raegan. They sat down and settled into the environment. Cade cleared his throat. He wondered what to say. Raegan picked a shrimp from one of the plates on the table and crunched loudly on it. Cade did not know how to react to this. She also hadn’t answered his question on if she would be willing to listen to his explanation.
