Cade let William leave the boardroom but decided that he would have a talk with his son later for exhibiting such rude behaviour. Carlson was invited to dinner at the Milton residence a week later when Raegan returned from her business trip. She had been in charge of organising a huge fashion show which was why she travelled. Raegan had also inherited the love that Cade had for his proficient worker, Carlson, because of how Cade always praised the young man. She always listened with an unadulterated attention whenever Cade talked about this young man who had been the top scorer for their scholarship scheme and managed to maintain that streak throughout his three years at College. Carlson finally arrived at the Milton estate. He put on his best casual outfit– the most expensive denim he had, and a black t-shirt that clung slightly to his well toned muscular body. He wanted to impress, but did not want to seem desperate to make an impression. His best clothes would probably still look like rags compared to their wealth but he refused to let that get to him. He knew Cade and his wife would never mock him for his financial status. He had made sure to get a haircut too, one that accentuated the chiselled outline of his handsome face.
