“So I’ve got good news and bad news, which do you both want to hear first?” Morris asked the two of them.

“Definitely good news first, then the bad news after that so it won’t seem so terrible.” Robin said.

“Well then, the good news is that we all got scholarships.”

Carlson just smiled but Robin was already jumping and celebrating.

“But wait! How can there be bad news? Getting the scholarship is all that matteres right?” Robin paused suddenly and asked with a wary expression.

It was Carlson that got the nuance on Morris’ statement.

“He said we all got scholarships, not that we all got ‘THE SCHOLARSHIP. You didn’t listen properly.” Carlson said.

“I still don’t get what that means.” Robin said with a frown and Morris laughed.

“It means we all got scholarships but not all of us got the MILTON COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP. This is why Carlson is the brain of this group and why he’s the only one who got into Milton.” Morris said and Carlson’s eyes widened.

“I got in to Milton College?”Carlson asked
