Cade continued his work after thinking of a plan to bring Gale's abductors to book. He had to find a way to set his plan in motion for the next day. What had he planned to do? Firstly, he tracked Gale's phone with the last call he got, and found out the location. He wondered why the abductors were so clumsy as to letting Gale call him with his own phone. They must be amateurs or they were just so confident that they wouldn’t get caught so they didn’t bother taking precautions. Secondly, he got the ransom ready. Cade waited until he saw a van driving out of the side of the building with men who were on their way to meet him at the place where he was supposed to meet him at the place they told him to drop off the money. He had the money with him hidden somewhere close by as a plan B, so if his rescue plan failed, he would use the money to try and pay them off to set him and Gale free. The incident of Gale's kidnap made Cade double him and Gale's security. Cade was exasperated. How did Hailey find her way to his company? Of course he knew that this was the famous Milton Conglomerate, anyone could easily locate it because of its fame. Hailey was back in her home, and already making a new plan on going back to Cade. She was more than humiliated by how he asked her out of his office, but stronger than that humiliation was her determination to get him to come around. It would either be by choice or by force. Whichever he chose, she was going to roll with it. When she left for her city the next day after what had transpired in Cade's office, she arrived home and told her mother all that happened. Hailey’s mother smiled. Hailey was very confident in her new secret plan. She had already started to put it all together in her mind. "Dinner would be ready soon. Evan always made efforts to please Hailey. He would do whatever she asked, if that would make her happy. But this was not just something that would please her, it was something that would be of benefit to him as well. He ruminated over the suggestion days after Hailey had told him, and came to a decision after he had considered the pros and cons of having to partner with the famous and extraordinarily rich company. It would give more visibility to his own company. They had been looking for ways to reach their target customers, and although they did all they knew would make their company more visible to target customers near and beyond, Evan did not think he was satisfied with the results they had gotten so far. The visibility was a pro. The con however, was that they may lose some customers to the Milton Conglomerate. Evan honoured his invitation. He took Hailey alongside because she insisted on coming along since the idea was hers in the first place. Even without saying that, she knew he would take her with him for goodluck. It was all a part of her plan. He had already bought her a new car and taken her on a shopping spree, a spar session and had gotten her other gifts. He was also really more loving to her now that her suggestion was taking the progressive side. So, when he told Hailey that the CEO of the Milton Conglomerate requested an audience with him, she asked to go with him, and because he was very pleased with her, he agreed to let her go.
