So the man who steals his girlfriend is his brother? From his rich father to a cruel stepbrother?

Life has really big surprises.

"What the hell are you doing here?!!" Carter rushed downstairs and was like a wild animal in his t erritory.

Oliver gulped, he never imagine having a brother like him.

"I already warned you not to cross the line." Carter sighed heavily, "Dad?! Why did you let this jerk enter our mansion?" He grunted at their fater, but he gave them a confusing look.

Seems like he had no idea what happened earlier in Carter's event.

"Is there something I want to know between the two of you?" he seriously asked and Carter was ready to explain.

"This jerk ruined my proposal earlier. He hurt my fiancee and I put him in jail."

"I paid for it," their dad answered directly and Carter's forehead creased. He was also taken aback to know that he was the one who paid the bail and Adam just helped him because of him.

"What? He might harass my fiance again." Carter was worried,

"For your information. She cheated on me." Oliver corrected.

"You two, follow me," They stopped when dad commanded them, he signaled them through his hand to follow him on the other side.

Carter and Oliver didn't hesitate to follow him while there was tension between them. They walked into a dining room and Oliver was seated on the chair opposite Carter while their father was in the center.

A woman in her 40's wearing a fine dress also enters the room with a young blonde girl. It was the CEO's wife and his younger daughter.

"Everyone sit down," He commanded and all of them stares at Oliver. Waiting to hear the reason why he's there.

"In front of us, is Mr.Sullivan a worker from our company and I take him here for my family to know the truth." He began and they were all curious.

"What truth?" Carter was impatient and can't bear seeing him with them.

"Oliver is my long lost son," he answered directly and Carter froze in his seat. He turned his gaze at him and a grin formed on his lips.

''He's your step-brother starting from now.''

"What? He's your bastard?" Carter hit the table using his hand.

"Carter. Get back on your seat 'cause we're not done talking," His dad commanded seriously he have no choice so he seated back.

Looks like he's intimidated to know the truth.

''I won't accept this piece of sh*t.!'' His wife wasn't happy at all, ''Eddison, this man might be fooling you for money.''

''I took a DNA test and he is my son. I do not doubt it,'' he cleared, "Since Oliver is here. I also wanted him to stay in here so he can bond with our family but it is upon his decision if he wanted to stay," Carter was pissed to hear it. "Since he's your brother he can receive anything the same as you." He cleared them.

Oliver decided to interrupt.

"Let me clear this out. I have no plans to stay here and to be part of your family. Even in the company." He can read the things in their minds they think of him like a snake who will devour them alive.

''It is my decision for you to stay here but I'll give you time to decide whether you want it or not. I'm just offering you a good life so you won't suffer anymore,'' The CEO sighed heavily as he badly wants Oliver to stay in their mansion but he just wanted to avoid this kind of family trouble.

''Thank you for respecting my decision. And this thing shouldn't be revealed to the public..'' Oliver said seriously.

''Don't be funny. We don't have plans to share it with anyone, Oliver. The company has its face'' Carted laughed sarcastically, "If the public knew we have a loser bastard, our stock price would go down."

''Then I'll be glad to know that,'' he gave him a fake smile then he stand up from his seat and bowed down to his father as I'm leaving, ''Thank you for this night, Mr.Johnson,'" he thanked him and took his bag from the side.

When he left the mansion, Carter chased him. Two of them were outside and Carter faced him who wanted to tell him something.

''What?'' he asked.

Carter took something from his pocket, and it was a pile of money that he suddenly threw at him so it scattered everywhere.

''Rich people do charity.'' He sneered coldly, and turned away, ‘’Hope it's enough for you to buy yourself a coffin."

Oliver lick his lip in annoyance but he couldn't help but hold back.

"Spoiled brat," he mumbled as he sighed while looking at the scattered money and he had no choice but to pick them up one by one to use them for paying a taxi.
