Oliver had just finished the meeting with the board of directors and was about to head back to his office when he heard someone crying. Curiosity led him to investigate the source of the noise, and as he turned the corner, he saw a little boy sitting on the floor with his back against the wall. Oliver noticed that the little boy had brown hair, just like his step-brother, and his eyes were a striking shade of blue, the same color as his mother's, who also happened to be his ex-girlfriend."Hey there, little guy. What's wrong?" Oliver asked, approaching the boy.The boy looked up and saw Oliver standing there. For a moment, he seemed hesitant, unsure of what to do. But then he stood up and ran over to Oliver, burying his face in his chest."I miss my dad," the boy sobbed, tears streaming down his face.Oliver's heart went out to the little boy. He knew the feeling of missing someone you love all too well, and he could imagine how hard it must be for a child to deal with such emotions.

Oliver sat across from his step-brother, Carter, drumming his fingers nervously on the oak desk. He had been eagerly waiting to share the news about his investor meetings and the future plans that he had for the company. However, he knew that conversations with Carter could never be easy, and from the tense look on his face, he could tell that this one was not going to be an exception."So, what’s the word on those investor meetings? The next day, Oliver went straight to the police station to report what had happened the night before. He recounted the details of the car chase, how he was followed and almost hit by several cars, and how he barely managed to escape. At first, the police didn't seem too interested in helping him, which made Oliver feel frustrated and powerless."Why aren't you doing something about this?" Oliver asked, trying to keep his voice calm."We're sorry, sir," the officer replied, "but without any concrete evidence or witnesses, there's not much we can do."Oliver was about to give up when he remembered the pile of money he had left in his car. Though he was aware that using money to get what he wants was not acceptable, he was left with no other option."Wait a minute," Oliver said, "I have something that might change your mind."He went out to his car and came back with a pile of cash in his hand.
