Chapter 3: Testing Out Strength

"All my stats were maxed!" Only that moment, Ibuki had forgotten about the cursed Avaricex had given him as he was thrilled to see his max stats.

He began to think about this current world he was reincarnated to, he could do everything he wanted, and no here could beat him. That's what been thinking about but then he realized something that could destroy his current dream.

Ibuki worried that there might be some people in the world that could overpower him. His realization has made him have a purpose in this current world besides killing the demon god Avaricex.

"It's like killing two birds with one stone! Hahaha..." He laughs but he didn't even realize that his laugh was making a huge demonic sound in the forest. There were some natives in that forest and when they heard it, the native's scout quickly check it out.

Tracking that demonic sound, the native people finally found an undead that was Ibuki. they realized that to make that kind of sound, the undead must be pretty powerful. The leader of the scout decides to just let it be as it didn't harm the village but one of the native boys disagrees and immediately attacks Ibuki with a bow and arrow.

"Vroasaresik piud undead! vroasaresik piab!" That boy shoots an arrow at Ibuki's head. Because of that Ibuki realized their presence and got irritated that he get an arrow on his head even with him doing nothing at all.

Ibuki slowly walked towards the boy as he dragged his scythe with him. The leader of the scout then shouts to the boy in some language that Ibuki doesn't know. The boy started running back to the rest of the scouts after hearing that shout.

Sadly the boy didn't make it as he was split into two as Ibuki threw his scythe towards him. All of the scouts were shocked because of that and some of them start shooting arrows at Ibuki as they wanted to take revenge for their fallen friend.

But of course, they posed no threat to Ibuki as he easily killed the one who shoot an arrow at him, he then glared at the rest of the scouts. Seeing Ibuki's purple eyes of the abyss and the dead giant bird, the natives immediately bow down and started saying something.

"Kamsek piok kavsak aeikod carresirik Xuesis! rad't rar tk'a piab's quk"

Ibuki didn't understand it at all but he checked his system whether it could help him with the language barrier or not. The system does have an auto-translate feature and Ibuki enables it. With that being enabled, he finally knows what they have been saying.

"Forgive us God of Death Xuesis! We didn't know it was you..." They repeated it again and again.

Ibuki asked himself why people called him the god of death but then he remember what Avaricex said, "I will give you power similar to mine."

"Is that mean I wield the power of a god?" He still didn't believe it.

Ibuki thinks for a while about his next action, he knows that his next action will determine how the outcome. He then decided to play as what the people describe he was, that was as a God Of Death Xuexis.

"Humans! You have interfered with my duty... For that, some sacrifices need to be made or face the wrath of GOD!" He just hopes that the system can translate his word to the native word of this world.

It does work out well as the natives respond, "Please forgive us Xuexis... we will make the sacrifices as soon as we arrive back at our village. Please don't kill us."

Ibuki feels that he needs to demonstrate his power now, he then killed two men from the scout as the others watch in fear and beg Ibuki to not kill them. Every time he kills a person, Ibuki felt something. Something that he never felt when he was still a human.

That was the joy of killing, the more he kills the more he felt that. He then proceeds to kill one of the scouts again. The rest of the scout team realize that their life will not be spared and started to run away from Ibuki.

No matter how fast the scout team ran, Ibuki would easily catch up to them as he move at incredible speed. One by one of the scout team being hunted and killed, Ibuki lets one survive as he may lead Ibuki to the village.

He follows that man and that man indeed ran to his village back. It was a small village and by looking at it, Ibuki realize that it would be easy to destroy it. They then quickly enter a large-looking hut and didn't come out for a while.

Ibuki lost his patience in waiting and went to the large hut himself, there he saw that man already died. Ibuki looked around and notice another man holding a shovel, the shovel has a stain of blood on it. Ibuki knows that he was the one that kill the man that he had been following for a few minutes.

"Lowly Undead! You're not God Of Death..."

Ibuki feels that this man was somewhat stronger than the rest of the people he encounters. He then proceed to check his stats, the man's name was Oldham and Ibuki was quite surprised to see that this man was level 35.

Oldham attack Ibuki with his shovel and that attack does a little damage to Ibuki. Ibuki realized that this man was indeed strong but not strong as him. Ibuki just slash him with his scythe and just as that Oldham died.

He didn't expect Oldham to die in just one hit but what more surprising was that he knows that Ibuki wasn't the God Of Death. Ibuki exited the hut and the first thing he saw was a large magical barrier appearing around the village.

"What this some sort of magical barrier? but this hasn't been here a few seconds ago."

Out of nowhere, Ibuki gets stabbed from behind. He saw that a shovel has penetrate his skeleton body. He turn behind and saw Oldham was still alive, he was also the one who had penetrated Ibuki's body with a shovel.

Ibuki didn't expect it as he thought that Oldham was already dead with a slash. Somehow this attack hurt Ibuki a lot more than the previous Oldham attack. Of course, Ibuki didn't die because of that, he just pushed back the shovel from his body.

After the shovel has been removed from Ibuki's body, he faces Oldham but he noticed something different about Oldham. He emits some kind of aura around him that makes Ibuki feels sick.

"You are a strong one..." Oldham laugh as another shovel appears in his hand.

Ibuki realized that Oldham's voice has a godly vibe to it. Suddenly Oldham throws the shovel in his hand toward Ibuki. He throws it like a javelin and it was so fast that no human eye could be able to catch up.

It was fast to human eyes but not for Ibuki, he didn't dodge the shovel as he simply catch it with his own hands. Makes Oldham surprised by it as he made another shovel appear again in his hand. When Oldham did that, Ibuki laughed as he find it funny.

"You dare laugh at my power!" Oldham said as he make five more shovels appear around him, it's all pointed toward Ibuki. "Now taste my Shovelist Element Strike!"

Ibuki looks closely at all of the ten shovels and he notice that every one of them was different. Each of them had a different color, Ibuki then realized that the color represents each element. Before he could think about the element that represents each of the shovels.

All of the shovels flying towards him, the first shovel hit Ibuki as it freezes him. The second one burns him up. The third one put made a huge boulder appear and it crush Ibuki. The fourth was a poison shovel that made Ibuki feels damage over time. The last one was a lightning attack that paralyzed Ibuki in that spot.

"My finishing touch! Light Xa Shovel..." Oldham throws the shovel as the shovel emits a bright light that hit Ibuki in the head. When it hit, the light was even brighter and because of that Ibuki made some sounds.

After the light was gone, there Oldham saw a shovel stuck in Ibuki's skull. Yet again, Oldham was surprised because Ibuki didn't die as he was laughing hard.

"Is this all? I thought that would do damage...Oops, it does, but only 2 damage." Ibuki continues to laugh.

Oldham was pissed, he summon hundred different colors of shovels, he then unleash a barrage of shovels toward Ibuki. When he saw Oldham making more shovels, it makes him laugh even more. All of the shovels hit Ibuki at once and it causes a huge explosion in that area.

The nearby hut was destroyed and some of the residents in there died in that explosion. The people of the village saw it and tried to escape but they can't as they were a barrier surrounding the village and because of that, they were forced to be inside.
