DEAD OR ALIVE

Nicholas drove a little further and turned to look at Lindsay after parking his SUV by the roadside.

“Are you still angry?” Nicholas asked, observing her a little. “ look I know its_”

“They're low life fraudsters Nicholas!! What donʼt you understand by that?!” She thundered. “If the company gets associated with them it could pose a threat to other engagements!”

“Itʼs just to ship the goods in, the government arenʼt doing anything about it, what do you expect from me?!” Nicholas asked, seeming stressed by her further perseverance.

“Jesus Lindsay, give me a break!!” He says igniting the engine now, angry.

He wondered why Lindsay was acting up, not like they were completely useless, they had some government pass for the port and used it to ship illegal items but Nicholas wanted to bring in some goods he ordered from China, he wouldnʼt be able to do some tech work if they werenʼt available which would cost them their current contract.
